I am sure he knew well it was coming. His defense was not great and the propofol expert they used was wraped up a few times by the prosecution lawyer. then he did not take the stand himself.

interesting to see it on tv though

Having watched most of the trial a guilty verdict was definitely the right one but I think the sentence should be minimal.

Most of the world would think that the Dr didn't kill Jackson, the jury doesn't agree.

As a fan I suppose I was hoping for a guilty verdict. Then again, MJ was a drug addict and you never know how persuasive he could have been with that doctor to give him more drugs.

At the end of the day the doctor pretty much screwed up every chance he had to save his life, though, whatever about the injection, so he can get away outta that.

    That was the right verdict!

The main thing is the clown will never get to practice medicine ever again. Not that anybody on the planet would have let Murray be their doctor ever again regardless off the verdict anyway!

    Good ridance!

Sad news to hear for Conrad Murray. The money grabbing men have no one to answer to it seems. Keep strong Conrad.

Seriously? You know little about the case but the right verdict was reached? How does this even make sense?

Would you like me to say it again or should I break out the crayons?

I hope they are not judging by looks now or else I would be well and truly ****ed. :pac:

Just watching post-verdict on Sky News. A bunch of tools jumping around in the street, dancing to 'Beat It' to celebrate. FFS. This was a guy who bleached his skin white while claiming it was a skin 'conditioning' while singing about how it 'doesn't matter if you're black or white'. A load of bollocks. The Doc was just a convenient scapegoat.

Well don't take what I said out of context. If you read my entire post you'd see that I saw both sides of the story.

First of all, I don't see what Michael Jackson's skin has anything to do with it. Secondly, he was no angel when it came to his addiction to drugs and I'm sure he paid Murray lots of money for his daily dose of propofol. However, that makes Murray equally guilty for exploiting this addiction and even more guilty for allowing Jackson to actually die and trying to cover up his incompetence when it came to the police investigation.

In all fairness the vitaligo was confirmed in the autopsy.

In all fairness, look at what he put his body through:

And the Doc gets the blame? Nah - can't accept that. It's nuts.

Oh no disagreement here he destroyed himself with the plastic surgery etc.

However the skin thing just irks me as it has been proven that that at least had a genuine medical reason behind it.

It's not nuts, MJ was obviously freeking mental but the doctor could have always said no.

He had to be convicted to discourage doctor shopping or every rich person who had the inclination could pay a doctor to do anything for them with no accountability on either side.

There are some simple facts in this case that are undeniable:

    1. Whether or not Michael Jackson or any other patient asks a doctor for medication it is up to the doctor to make the right decision for the well being of the patients health. MJ asked for medication to help him sleep, Murray administered drugs to help with insomnia, something which he should not have been doing, he was not in a position to give his patient regular doses of a drug to help with this problem.

    2. He gave MJ propofol in a setting that had never been used for this drug before. The drug had only ever been administered in a hospital setting where there were plenty of machines to monitor the patients state, machines that were not available to Murray in Jackson's bedroom. It was essentially an experimental process.

    3. Michael Jackson had been showing signs in the previous weeks that he was not in full health. He had missed a lot of rehearsals in the weeks leading up to his death and was still allowed to return to work by his doctor.

    4. Murray administered CPR even though Michael Jackson still had a pulse.

    5. It took Murray (I think) 20-30 minutes to call 911 after Jackson had taken a turn for the worse. He called Jacksons assistant before calling 911.

These facts all show Murray to be extremely negligent in his duties as Jacksons doctor and are the reasons why he was correctly given a guilty verdict. There's a simply question I kept asking myself whilst watching this trial. If my mother or father were both in reasonable health, and I decided to pay a doctor $150,000 a month to be their personal physician, to take care of them and to ensure they remain in good health, how would I feel about said doctor if a few months later one of them died while in his care?

Don't know the details of this case, as haven't followed it.
What i do know, having seen live coverage of the verdict on the news, is that the judge was/is a grandstanding c*nt; his only interest seemed to be his role in the production of this spectacle.

Was is really necessary to handcuff Conrad Murray after the guilty verdict! Fcuking circus that's all it was and Murray was the bad guy.

I don't see what exactly the judge did wrong. He thanked the jury. He spent a long time thanking them thoroughly to let them know they were appreciated and to let the millions of people watching just how important juries are. Then he spoke about date for sentencing and made his decision to reprimand Murray. Don't see any problem

I'm probably wrong on this but once the judge makes a decision to reprimand a convicted felon do they have to cuff him straight away maybe?
