Trust me Dudess it exists! I'm not a smoker but my mates are so we hang out in the smoking area and you see them all the time. There's always 1 or 2 and they do it all night.

Sure I have a female mate who goes out on a night out and when she's short of money she'll just get guys to buy her drinks.

I'm a shy fella so when a nice, well mannered girl asks me for a smoke in club I would usually say yes so I can get a chance to talk to her.

I'd never give a smoke to one of 'those girls', you know the type, you can usually spot a them mile off

I normally take out the "Smokers are jokers" litirature I keep in my back pocket and tell the girl all about the dangers of smoking and how it makes you icky and smell bad. I give them all the statistics from right across the globe before reading them a complex list of all chemicals contained in these cigarettes, along with tar percentages for each individual brand!

I have a friend who used to do that. She'd even go out with NO MONEY. She'd have her phone and no wallet. I got so annoyed with her one night over it I started approaching the same guys she was approaching and as soon as she'd open her mouth I'd swiftly interrupt with "Don't buy her a drink, she'll ignore you as soon as you do." She wasn't impressed, the stingy whore.

She has a boyfriend now so apparently she doesn't have to do it anymore.

To be honest I think the guy in the situation is just as bad.

So he tries to get a girl to stick around by buying her drinks - ie. supplying her with drink on the basis that he finds her attractive, and you're acting like he's a victim just because she doesn't play along? With the amount of guys doing this it's no wonder that some girls have come to expect it and utilise it.

If trying to buy a girl's interest backfires, I've no sympathy for the guy who gets ditched.
