Dont ever try and defend racism.

How are my defending racism, racism is unacceptable, simple as that.

But calling someone a black cnut is not always racist, in the same way people get calle fat cnut or bald cnut or tall cnut or lanky cnut ( in my personal case). Its an abusive term, it does not always have to have racist conetations

To be fair, calling someone a black cnut is hardly crime of the century. If he used the n word then that would have gone too far but during handbags like the terry ferdinand incident all sorts of stuff is said from both sides but of course the hypersensitive press jump on it immediately and suddenly it becomes a disgusting racism row.
I don't think it's OK even in the heat of the moment if it's proven, but that's not what I was commenting on, it was the show of solidarity for JT by the travelling "fans"

Of course it doesnt, the word black before the word cnut has no racist connotation. Where did you read that, in the headhunters annual?

I never siad it was ok even in the heat of the moment but people tend to blow things out of porportion and a heat of the moment comment suddendly becomes a massive racist slur which it clearly is not.

Why is it clearly not? I strongly advice you to put down the shovel

But surely by definition a racist term has to be derogatory or discriminatory to a race. Black is an adjective and I don't automatically assume it was meant in a racist way unless anoother racist term is used in tandem. Its a simple logical conclusion

Its derogatory but not in all cases a racial remark. Obviously in some cases it clearly is racial but just because its used does not mean its related to racism. Its still an unacceptable term as is any use of the word cnut by a pro footballer with kids watching on.

I see absolutely no problem with any abuse Terry gets for what he done on Wayne Bridge. He deserves every bit of it

Well you could also say that Ferdinand is black and he probaly is a ****. Terry had to know he couldn't get away with it though, he really is thick.

Alternatively terry may actually be telling the truth about the context of what he said.

Oh wait no, he is a arsehole and is clearly lying, him and suarez are both guilty, no investigation or proof needed. Sure just look at the heads on the pair, clear racists. end of story <
    example of hyperbole

I was actually defending you, I do think Terry said what he said, I just think calling someone a nagger is 100 times worse than calling someone a black ****. Suarez has no case to answer.

Why is the colour of the lads skin even relevant? His behaviour certainly is, but his skin colour?

I think no one should get abuse on the pitch full stop no mater what they did in their private life or what race they are.
But if some one is going to be a footballer they need to be able to take some abuse because it will happen.

If a black player called a white player a white **** would it be an issue, we all know it's wrong if Terry called him a black ****. I just think everyone is jumping on the bandwagon making out their horrified by these comments.

Not on the same level, really!!!

Ferdinand happened to be born with dark skin.

Terry decided to f*ck his teammates girlfriend.

    Superb Captaincy, right there!!

Good oul JT. Only he can divide a squad on a consistent basis!!

No need to bring Suarez into this.

John terry has been caught calling Ferdinand a black c**t. Some wonderful chelsea fans then decided to abuse Ferdinand from the stands tonight. Following in the footsteps of there wonderful captain!

You didnt hear Evra being abused by Liverpool fans at the weekend did you?

I never claimed to be horrified by them, just that it was a stupid thing to say. Didn't that nice El Hadj Diouf get in bother for calling an Everton ball boy 'Vanilla' or something

My point is, I don't see how the colour of his skin is relevant, or why it is brought up other then in a descriptive sense

Jesus Christ lads!! Would you even look up the 'Racism for Dummies' ****!! This is getting on the same level as 'being called a ginger' is the same as being called a 'n!gger'

    Is John Terry a racist?
Probably not (I think it would have come out sooner in his career if so)

    Is John Terry extremely stupid?
    Yes

Don't know about diouf I never heard that, I though he slapped him or something. Maybe your not horrified but the media and some people are acting like he was touching kids or something, I'm not defending Terry in any way, he really is thick if this is true.
