The one ad slogan of theirs that has stuck in my mind is "Where's the beef?"

"Where's the Beef" was an advertising slogan for the Wendy's fast food chain. AFAIK McDonald's never used it.

My sincere apologies for straying from the OP.

I hang my head in shame for being so egocentric.

    Please forgive me good Sir.

Sir has a forgiving heart but an unforgiving mind.

I stand corrected. Thanks. I really thought it was McDonald's.

I also remember a crack after someone shot a dozen or so people in a McDonald's in the USA years ago: "If the gunmen don't get you, the food will."

BTW, they use chicken instead of beef or pork in the Indian McDonald's. I went a couple of blocks further on and had an excellent meal of real food in a Muslim restaurant.

OK, I've resisted enough - just can't take it anymore.

Going to MacDonald's will take years off you.

I am not fond of the McDonald ads, I just don't like the image they're trying to set up for themselves, I tend to avoid McDonald's as a result.
