Bringing in the Justice League would be too much of a tonal shift, I think. A Chris Nolan'd Superman isn't Superman.

Right, had a dream last night that John Lauranitis was removed as COO/GM after a mutiny against him, and Vince became GM/COO again "by default and theres nothing any of you can do about it". And then Stephanie's music hit and revealed she has been named the replacement until further notice.

Just calling it now.

Not trolling, not looking for a rise out of people. I honestly thought it was extremely poor. The storyline is contrived to say the least. Some of the acting borders on complete ham. I am glad series one just had 7 episodes, so I do not have to "give it at least the full series of 10-12 episodes".

Wow,if you consider both those shows bad then what do you consider good?

Michael C Hall and Bryan Cranston are probably some of the best actors working today. I honestly don't see how anyone could fault them.

Having watched The Wire, The Shield, Treme, Boardwalk, Sopranos etc BB is not even in the same category as the above.

For me, Cranston is an "over actor". His acting style is not in the least bit believable.

First time I've ever heard someone complain about Breaking Bad.. It's the greatest show on television by a long way. Bryan Cranston's character evolution is incredible, and he's quite deserving of his awards. If the final season is anywhere near as compelling as last season, it'll eclipse The Wire or The Soprano's or anything else, as the best U.S drama of All Time..

same here hesne my assuming he was speaking tongue and cheek and said he was trolling and then to just drop Dexter in there too.

I remember making a similar point a long time ago though, Everyone i know on my media production course was falling over themselves talking about how good the untouchables was but I thought the thing was 100% condensed ham and over the top stuff. Though it does seem after a full season he gave it enough time... puzzling

Regarding Dexter - the storyline is solid, but the acting is beyond awful in it. Its like a serious show with Ugly Betty actors. Teh sister, the woman Police Chief, the Sargeant who does not like Dexter are atrocious. I cannot get past that, so had to bin it after 2 episodes.

Id say my biggest problem was we went straight from watching Treme to Dexter, which as someone pointed out to me is like watching Scarface then flicking on some musical theatre.
