and thats the problem. maybe this is why you shouldnt complain when the ''terrorists'' follow you home(britian)
    I don't complain....

I don't like the word terrorist. It implies there's no root to what they're doing.

really. didnt see the .ie. my bad. oh wait if you read my op you'll notice the question is to the british people on boards.

well done though. good for you

Just endured the tedium of reading your OP again. No where does it say that it's addressed soley to brits on boards.ie.

Maybe if you wanted responses that are less whimsical and care-free you should have posted somewhere else.

Could you be a bit less diplomatic next time.

Is this in relation to the thread that said the Brits had bigger willies than the Irish?

It does doesn't it, its a penis envy thing.

What Britain and the US do is not politically correct but it works. Look at Britain, controlling most of the world. Look at the Republic of Ireland. Nationalists played their part in terrorism, funded by the USA so its a little hypocritical

The US and British governments seemed happy he was killed probably because of what he knew about the deals the British government and the US governments had with his regime.

Most of the western superpowers negotiated with Libya to stabilise the region and ensure we all benefit from oil. Being able to have these interesting conversations on our computers is pretty dependant on the stuff to keep the lights on and economy moving in the western world.

I would challenge the OP to justify why Ireland has adopted a complete stance of apathy and indifference to the worlds troubles. In-action is as much a crime as stepping in with force and it's easy to criticise others when you dont get your hands dirty. Neutrality should be illegal.

no country acts perfectly. Even sleepy ireland has a level of political corrption and failure that I'm sure a lot of irish citizens are keen to see some accountability for which has never happened.

You're surprised Britain got her hand dirty? Jesus look at the history of the British empire and the mess they've left all over the world. It always tickles me when Brits moan about American imperialism.

i think its more a fact that other conflicts are none of our business. something that the british could learn from.

theres alot of libyans well trained in weaponry and warfare around these days, how long do you think it will be before they arrive in britain with information about what the british government did to aid gaddafi and his butchers.

good luck with that by the way.

    You are wrong.

Eng, Scotland and Wales = Great Britain
UK = Great Britain and NI

the fact is that Britain has a lot more power globally and has to step in in certain circumstances ans yes it may be over oil. Everyone would be complaining if petrol prices rose higher etc.
Ireland doesn't get involved in things like this because for one even if we wanted to we wouldn't be able to do much would we

You are! Britain is an island. It consists of England, Scotland and Wales.

NI is part of the United Knigdom but is not part of Britain.
