we are hearing about dana, marty mc g,s.gallagher, m.d. higgins etcs...basically all crap candidates

i think a foreign national would know how to sort this country out, and wouldnt be involved in the crime and corruption that goes on in the dail at the moment!!

You do realise the president doesn't have a lot of powers and therefore can't really do a lot to sort out the country.

I agree.

I am humbled by the stories that come to me via e-mail every day, from poor Nigerians looking for a better life.

I hope my bank details have helped them in some way and I look forward to the day we have one of them as head of our state.

Im forever getting e-mails from them telling me how there is $100,000,000 in a Lagos bank for me,all I have to do is WU $10,000 for admin fee's to cover the transaction!! We won't even start talking about nigeria's finest,who are driving taxi's in Ireland,who claim to not know the difference between Ballymun and Ballyboden!!!Robbers the lot of them!!

Bin Laden Dies In Car Crash
THIS STORY IS STILL DEVELOPING...

Bin Laden died in a single vehicle crash on Route 80 between Morristown and Roswell. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics responding to the vehicle accident and was identified by photo ID found on his body. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been a factor in this accident .
Highway Safety Investigators have told reporters that Bin Laden lost control while driving a friend's vehicle on Interstate 80 and rolled the vehicle several times killing him instantly.

The vehicle was believed to have been traveling at approximately 95 miles per hour in a 55mph zone at the time of the accident.

Witnesses have stated that Bin Laden's car crossed the double lines several times prior to the accident and hit the center lane divider causing the vehicle to flip and roll.

Toxicology tests will be performed to determine whether he was driving under the influence, however initial findings indicate that durgs or alcohol did not contribute in any way to this accident as it was more likely to been caused by road conditions.

Memorial services for Bin Laden have not yet been announced. The service is expected to be a closed casket funeral due to the severe head trauma.

For the love of God NO. That's the last thing we need. I don't think more immigration should be encouraged

They seem pretty nationalist too. Weren't they were the first country in the Eastern Bloc to overthrow the Communists? - and they were trying to do so before Gorbachev promised not to invade countries for trying to do that. Plus they are experienced at being shafted by allies - hence the Communism thing... I mean even Germany only had half their country given to the Soviets...Poland had the highest rate of deaths too in that war.

I think we should run the election like Big Brother, everyone starts off in the aras with the public eliminating one each week based on whatever scandals are in the papers at the time. The last one standing is then doused in petrol, set alight, and the presidency abolished forever.

I'm not being racist or anything but if you think the Irish government are corrupt then do your research on the track record of Nigerian governments and leaders and then I guarantee you that you'd change your mind very swiftly.
