Evra has been poor the last two seasons, even the most ardant United fan would admit that Suarez does not need to resort to racism to better Evra on the pitch!

To suggest so is just grasping at bloody straws to be honest!

Would it not be an advantage to get him a red or second yellow and sent off?

You're clutching at straws yourself here tbh.

I agree that its vile and sick, but I'm saying there would have been a motive there for him to do it. Whereas as you have pointed out yourself, there appears little motive for Evra to make the whole thing up.

Just been over-taken by their arch rivals at the top of the table after drawing while resting the majority of their big players. What better way to deflect the media attention and pressure that comes with it.

It will make very interesting reading here if the allegations are proven  But it's 99% certain that nothing will come of it like the busquets case. If it was happening suarez was hardly going to be screaming it or even saying it when other people were close to them. Personally i don't think suarez is a racist but maybe he used the term while trash talking

I'm pretty sure we were still top of the table at the end of the game:p

Maybe that is what evra is doing? get the best player in the league banned for 5 or 6 games, even better if hes playing for your fiercest rivals,

Its kind of becoming clear now!

    I presume thats a joke.

United have been dealing fairly adequately with the "pressure" of being at the top of the table (in bloody October no less!!!) for a fair few years now.

Aye, your annual struggle for a CL spot is of major importance and relevance to Patrice Evra.:pac:

The best player in the league was sitting on the United bench and deemed unnecesssary to get a resut from ye btw.;)

Too late on a sunday night for that argument!

As a liverpool fan I hope there is no truth in this. I obviously can't comment on whether it's true or not and anyone that intimates either is an idiot.

What I would say is that Evra should have waited and just made an official complaint rather than also speaking to reporters, seems like he was going for maximum exposure. Presumably this could be treated as slander if it is not proven.

Either way the whole thing will end up in a mess and suarez will be tainted whether guilty or not.

Not really an argument, but he's not the best player in the league.

He is a fantastic player, but there is better than him in the league, he would make it into the top 5 though.

I had a word with Ledley King about that and he didnt seem to think so , he told me he had Suarez in his pocket all day long;)

No idea whether there's any trut in this and would be disappointed with Suarez if there was, but am I alone in thinking that Evra needs to button it. Surely to christ there are more important things to sort out than being called a 'n*****' on a football pitch by one person. It's not like it was a hate mob after him, let him man up and talk to Suarez about it afterwards instead of crying off to the press or the FA. Maybe I'm alone in this but would it or should it really be the first reaction to report this stuff instead of talking to him first??

Slight difference in the latest quotes from his interview.
"Yes, he did. We can see thanks to the television what he said. He said it at least 10 times. We can read it on his lips."

Eagerly awaiting this damning evidence Evra is referring to.

Good to see Liverpool echo my sentiments in regards to if this turns out to be a frivolous accusation.

He'll be asked tomorrow if he wants it to be an official complaint-if he backs out now, it'd be very very telling IMO.

The official complaint was made when he reported it to the referee at the end of the game, before he spoke to any reporters.

Why would Evra try get a ban on Rooney?

Evra and Suarez are both individuals of low integrity IMO :Suarez is a cheat by nature as indeed is evra, who also has the added scumbag bonus of developing a habit of using his colour to get back at opponents. The big difference is that Suarez is playing well and improving, while evra has been in decline for about 3 years now

Hmmm. Dont know what your saying here.Your saying Evra made all this up coz Suarez is playing well?Im not a United fan by any means but your argument has me baffled.

already been proven wrong several times.

Two years give or take the odd performance, was actually quite good against liverpool.

I will agree Suarez is playing well, but that's about it.

Wildly off topic, but amongst all my outrage I may not have said this, yesterday was probably the best I've seen him play in a couple of seasons.
