Saw 1st half of the last Harry Potter movie, didn't see the second.

I think the only "classic" film anyone should see is "Its a wonderful life"

My name is garbanzo and I have still to see... Citizen Kane and Easy Rider. There...I feel better already.... !

I watched Citizen Kane for the first time on a plane a few weeks ago,and its crap i dont know why it is supposed to be the best film ever made.

The use of camera is great, but the story is muck.

Tell the truth, you were scared of the little alien :p

I may have enjoyed it as a kid but can't imagine that I would enjoy it now.

I'd say the Jackass series of films would shock most people and I've never seen any of them.

I'd never seen any of the Jurassic Park movies up until a few weeks ago. Didn't think it was that shocking until I mentioned it to a friend and he would not shut up about it for ages! Other massive gaps in cinema history include The Godfather, most of the Indiana Jones ones (except, unfortunately, the last one), The Princess Bride and many many more.

I haven't seen Avatar, which seems to shock some people. It looks like a pile of w*nk, so I can't really understand why everyone else went to see it.

    very good :D

tis indeed, its a collection of short stories, the original is called The Body, its in the same book as The Shawshank Redemption and Apt Pupil stories, the books called Different Seasons, well worth a read.

of mine its mostly stuff real movies buffs would be shocked at, not many major films I havent gotten round to watching at some point, I have tried to watch Gone With The Wind, but its sooooooo boring, tried and failed many a time

Lord Of The Rings, Saving Private Ryan, Pearl Harbour, Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, I'm sure there's a few more there too.

Lord of the Rings trilogy, Star Wars series, Indiana Jones series. I wish I could add Avatar to that list. Biggest waste of time in my life. Total testicles of a film

so did you read the book "stand by me" or "the body" or did you see the film?

There's loads of films I haven't seen. Just to mention one; Scarface. I saw some of it when I was about eight years old but I thought it was boring. I still haven't seen it its entirety and have no intention of doing so despite the fact that everyone featured on MTV Cribs recommends it.

About 70% of what's been mentioned in this thread! :p

    Stand-out ones include:
    The Lion King
    Bambi
    Lord of the Rings
    Star Wars
    Fight Club
    Avatar
    Grease

(BTW I'm almost 20, so no excuses for any of them really...)

I don't know if I'm more surprised that some here haven't seen
The Lion King or that they remember not having seen it.
