Just incase it was a legitimate question, I think that it should be the choice of the individual whether or not to be labelled based on where they come from. But I know I wouldnt have much time for an "irish" person openly admitting that he was not irish, based on his personal opinion for how the country has been run.

If I could I'd give it to my cousin so she wouldn't need a visa to work in Europe. She's only entitled to a South African one and nobody wants that.

I would also choose to keep my British one over Irish any day. Simply for the fact that it offers greater mobility: Europe and the Commonwealth. That's a big chunk of the world!

obviously we're in a very shitty situation cos of all the money problems and it doesnt seem to be gettin any better, but i'm not goin to renounce my irish citizenship just cos we're in a bit of a hole!

Being irish is brilliant cos no-one outside of here knows what its like! its unique... i mean imagine being one of hundreds of millions in America or one of 20 million in London...

If I was up for a death penalty here, and I could get off that if I changed citizenship, yeah. In fact, Hell YEAH.

Or if you know. It was worth it in some fashion. Can't think what else would make it worth it. It'd probably start with M and end with oney though.

It's better to have an Irish passport than a British passport. It's easier travel on an Irish passport.
