Alpha male: takes crap from nobody, gets the misses to cook,clean etc. if anyone starts on you they are put in their place fairly quick.aint scared to piss off the boss or anyone else

Beta male: agrees with everyone just not to pis ppl off, does whatever their girl says, scared of confrontations etc. interacts in forplay with the other half

be honest lads, what would you be...alpha or beta??

I'm neither.

To me, being an alpha or beta is all about your relation to other people (like in a dog pack), and I'm not much of a team player, and don't tend to think about how I'm seen by others so I don't think about myself as being an alpha or beta male.

I'm me and I just get on with things.

For the record, I hate people who fit both descriptions you gave, so I'd imagine that, as in so many aspects of life and thin sheets of ice floating on water, the middle ground is best.

How you describe Beta is a pushover, with no self-worth. In reality there are an alphabets worth of different types. You have terrible broad strokes.
