i'm not too gone on the ww bagels...they're okay but not great!
the ww wraps are pathetic, the tesco light choice ones are MUCH better quality even if they are 5pp! I only use them in the quiche recipe...they are the only wraps that dont break and crack!

ww pitta breads...oh i cant count the number of times my lunch has turned into a mess from those things breaking up.

What does the dunnes packaging look like on there pitta breads? I might consider them as a lunch for college.

There in a clear packet and green on the front. There usually down with all the others. And there only 70 cent for the pack of 6 so it's a bargain. Also the Discovery wraps are only 4pp each and there as good as the light choices for holding together and a good size. I was using my iWatcher the other day in the bread section but just looked like I was texting rather than been obsessed!! Well hopefully it looked that way :o

Was down 3.5 tonight, delighted after a week of eating right, walking and avoiding drink!! Went a bit mad last night on ryvitas with goats cheese, stayed with weeklies but was still worried but didn't need to be :-) so im back with my goal range so don't have to pay next week... Have 4.5 to go to be back to my lowest so pray I keep up this motivation!!!

Well done everyone on your loses!! Stone will be gone by chrimbo for us :-)

    Hi all,

Sorry I have been AWOL in the last two weeks. Things have been so hectic at work and when I get home in the evening, the last thing I want to do is switch on another computer :p Anyway, I've been getting on quite well at WW - was down 2.5lb last week which I was totally amazed at because I did not do a tap of exercise! I've been a bit better this week but not expecting a lot at WI tonight as I expect last weeks lack of movement will surely catch up with me :p

Everyone else is doing so well - delighted for you all :D

Well totally disillusioned!! Lost 3.5 first week, up 1.5 last week and up another .5 this evening. Stuck to basically same food as first week, exercising more...what's going on?

Anyone know how many in kfc mini chicken fillet? Have still 40 min drive ahead and starving!

Well down 2.5 lbs last night at WI. Even though I was up for two weeks, it has averaged at 1lb per week for four weeks so happy with this, only 6 lbs to go to goal. Ate and did everything the same so just think I have a funny metabolism, does anyone else find this?? This is my theory anyway and I am sticking to it!! It stops me falling off the wagon!!

    Hey Shinnie,

Yea I find this as well. I can never ever judge what I'm going to lose or how I'm doing. Was finding some weeks I was really good not losing at all or up 1 and then the following week losing 2.5lbs. I seem to be a week behind so thats the way I'm sussing it but everyone is different. It helps me get through the bad weeks. The ones where you have worked really hard and nothing shows up for it so helps me to keep going like you. It'll pay off is the way I see it. I seem to be the same with the programme, I've been averaging off a 1lb a week. It's slow but its healthy and sustainable so I'm all for that. 15 weeks and 14 pounds so happy out!

The pitta's are really crap and do fall to pieces if you are not meticulously careful. They are also REALLY thin and you may aswell just be eating your sandwich filling wrapped in lettuce leaves. (You can see I don't like them very much ha ha :) )
    MaggieMay2 wrote: »
Dunnes own brand Wholemeal Pitta's are 3pp each as well and they are much better. They are thicker and hold much better. The WW wraps aren't great either. Has anyone tried the bagels, are they worth it/good quality?

Will NEVER be buying them again - just saw them the other day in the shop. I usually use the Lidl wholemeal pittas and they're great, higher than the WW but at least my lunch isn't in forty bits! I'm a bit suspicious about WW products (even more so now) - the only thing I really like that I've tried are their dessert-style yoghurts, the strawberry/lemon cheesecake ones are DIVINE. Still, not paying nearly 3 quid for four yoghurts (especially when the 7 year old robs them!).

WI tonight, 1.5lbs to go to officially get my 2 stone after feckin round with a few pounds for weeks, silver seven you better come home with me!

Tonight i am making my own stuffing with ww 1pp brown bread and onion and egg white 2pp with Chicken roasted in bacon medallion 6pp and salad spuds roasted in fry light 6pp.. 14pp total

    Hi all, a
m new here but have been following your posts for the past few months. Though I would take the plunge and post.

Am looking to lose a stone by Christmas and need to get back in the game. I went to electric picnic and then on holidays and ended up putting on 6.5 pounds in one month, aggh! I was doing so well having lost 20 pounds...need to get motivated again. Any tips? I fell into my old habits again when I was away. I am not as enthusiastic as I was at the start and need to get that back.

Have a couple of tips for ye also.

If you are looking for a good pitta I recommend the food doc multigrain one, only 4pp.. you can get it in tescos. I find it really fills me up.

Also I found a treat dinner for just 9 points -

150g worth of mccains oven chips 5 pp
    100g of beans 2pp
    1 gammon steak grilled 2pp

This dinner has helped me out when i craved bad food!

If you set up an iTunes account for the UK app store with a different email address and a random UK postcode you should be able to download the WW app. It's free as far as I remember..!

Hey, nearly a year following weight watchers now and am down a total of 2 stone 11lbs, another 2 stone to go! I'm heading to a mexican restaurant in town (dublin) tomorrow night, anyone any ideas what would be the best value propoints wise? It's acapulco's on george's street.
btw anyone else been to a bums and tums class? went to one two days ago and am still suffering!

Went to see a friends new house tonight and knew she would have loads of food and wine.... I just said no thank had water and she was very respectful and didn't push it on me!! My best friend is on a major waking buzz at the moment and instead of driving there, we walked the 50 mins to the house and bummed a lift back from one of the other girls!! Always a way to fit in a bit of exercise :-) welcome all the newbies and well done on the losses this week, everyone seemed to have a good one!!

WI tonight I was down four pounds which makes a total of a stone and a half after 8 weigh ins. I took advantage of the good weather to get some extra walking in. I've been using Butternut squash oven chips and cauliflower mash as potato substitutes and eating lots of white fish as well. Feel fantastic.

Everything seems to be loaded with cheese from what I can remember last time I was there. Fajitas are a good bet as you can just use one of the wraps they give (they are seperate) whereas the burritos etc they are already wrapped and I think they use 2 so thats pretty much 10pp gone before anything else and everything is topped with cheese. They have an online menu http://www.acapulco.ie/index.html
The salad seems like a nice option. But sure iif you have all your weeklies you can treat yourself....Enjoy!!

WI last night and STS - I knew that 2.5lbs and no exercise was too good to be true :p Am feeling motivated this week as I saw a pair of earrings last week that I want to get but only if I lose another 2lbs! So it's spurring me on, they are only 15euro but they are my reward for sticking to the plan! I'm trying to stop doing the "sure I went for a run, I deserve a biscuit" lark!

Bought those Dunnes Stores Wholemeal pittas last night, have one with me today for lunch with some tuna and mayo, hope it is nice :D

I think they are 4PP. The normal size ones are 8PP.
