1st off if there is or ever will be such thing im pretty sure people would be with us now from the future

    2nd
to believe if i could go back a day thats basically saying that there i would be repeating the whole day or that going back in time has rewound time

It just makes zero sense or at least could someone explain it in a way that it might make sense!!

ill tell you what makes no sense, point 2, whatever the hell that was supposed to mean

time travel, if possible, needs to be such that no changes have been made to the past. that means if you figure out a way to time travel tomorrow, and come back to today, you will already have done it before you figure out how to time travel. you time travelling doesn't change the past in that case, it merely allows the past to happen as was, and you cant alter it

Hmm, maybe to travel through time there needs to be a portal or something in the time you want to go to.

Since we dont have one of these yet, no one can travel back to this time.

Just watch the movie Primer, it's the only film where anyone made a decent stab of the actual practicalities of time travel.

I wonder does the new discovery (Sub-atomic particles travel faster than light) mean that things may not be as they seem? including distance, speed, and time travel? because if something can go faster than light, then surely there's a fascinating if . . . . . . .

come on op are you for real, it has happened do you really think the human race all of a sudden got really clever,

how much we have moved forward technology wise in the last 150 yrs, when before that we were dopes,

of course we have been visited from the future, how do you think they beat Hitler, and the Aussie's.

Its already happened, time cops kick ass anytime somebody tries to alter history.

Time travel already exists, Cern fired off a bunch of neutrinos and they waited for them to arrive in Gran Sasso lab. Unfortunately, up to now, The closest Ryanair could get them was Bergamo so they had to catch a connecting bus the rest of the way.

Ive always thought Ireland should have a time authority that looks after public clocks just so we could have a department of Time or Time Police.

That makes no sense, sure just travelling back would change the past automatically-point been it's totally stupid that people think you can go back in time, it's gone-otherwise there would be me there and in the future, 2 of me and actually billions because what if you go 1 second back in time, 2 me again etc

Or do people think going back brings everyone back!

it just makes no sense is what im saying

    For you maybe....

If time travel is possible we would only be able to travel back to a point where time travel had already been made possible.

I always thought Time Travel was one of the blindest of scientific dreams.

Consider time, it is just a man made label. Days, weeks, years, they are just words we made up to give us context.

Travel in time? You might as well try to travel in weights and measures.

How do you know there isn't??? What do you expect them to do, Come back and announce to the world that they are from the future? They'd be locked up in a straight jacket.

Everything you see is in the past. You never see anything in the present. When you look at the Sun, you see it as it was 8 minutes beforehand. You never see the sun as it is. When you look at the sky - you see stars how they were 1000's of years ago, and if you are lucky enough to have a telescope - you can see objects as they were millions of years ago. This is all down to how long it takes light to travel to us.

So technically - everytime you look at the sky, you are looking back through time.

    But would it spoon afterwards?

Is time travel a caring lover?

    I doubt it.

You have just scrambled my brain.

I have spent the last 10 mins looking at things confirming I am looking in the present, but the minute I confirm that, its in the past....

Time travel into the future is possible and astronauts have being doing this since they first went into space. Even the ones on the ISS now are doing it.
