Wham Bars? Meh. If they stopped making Moro's now I'd be seriously upset. King of bars.

Whole different category of bars there mate: if it's chocolate and costs(ed) more than 10p it's a completely different kettle of fish

Gargoyle bars. Now they were a sugary retro masterpiece.

I shouldn't post, I knew neither band nor bar and I had children who possibly should, but don't.

But it's always sad, you'll find as you grow older, nothing ever actually replaces the bands or bars you've loved.

I have more or less given up chocolate because one of my favourites as a schoolboy disappeared ~ I've been on a holy grail of chocolate hunting since, but I've never found a GOOD substitute ~ some come close, but ..

When I was a child, my dad used to make a water slide for me and my friends in my back garden on hot sunny days. He used to tie the hose to the top of our slide and put a paddling pool at the bottom. If we got a couple of weeks of sunshine, the water slide would still be running all day every day till we got tired of it or it rained. kids nowdays are never going be able to do stuff like that because of the water charges.

Actually come to think of it they're making boxes of Nerds again. Another childhood favourite.
