    What kind of specs is it running on? I was considering letting someone use one of my servers for Minecraft but I'm wary about how fast it will eat up available RAM etc as it scales.

    It'll use all the RAM you can give it and more. Ours has 1.5GB I believe (although cherryghost may have changed this since 1.8 came out). CPU is intensive enough at times, but it's all about the RAM :)

    It's a dual core AMD with 2GB of ram, so Minecraft is currently assigned to 1.8GB RAM
