I just want to clarify... Is it 1 house per person on the server + the house that they own in Dublin. There doesn't seem to be a great benefit for living in Dublin other than the fact that it is the original town. The place has been ransacked as far as rarities are concerned.

Well I'm moving out of Dublin and into Wicklow (nim is doing the same). I think only one house in any village will stop people from cluttering up the place, but you can make whatever you want outside of the towns.

Loving the new track hub at the spawn, one problem however is that due to spawn protection nobody can actually place a cart on the tracks there

Think cherry or someone will have to enlarge the Dublin Mountains terminus so it stretches to the edge of the spawnlocked zone. Only there can the Dublin Mountains > Dublin line have minecarts placed on it.

That said, the Dublin Mountains > Offaly line seems fine.

All chests in the train station are glitched.

Also, a creeper blew up in offaly, i've been trying to fix the damage but the lag is too much for me to do anything properly, i'll fix it tomorrow if it's not lagging too much.

On another note, the timeline for the eventual turn-off of 1.7.3:
1. Server will taken down at about 9pm tonight.
2. Server will be available to download freely from about 10pm.
3. New server will be temporarily down for about 5 mins at around 10pm, in order to assign more RAM to the new server.

What's the general population spread on the server? I rarely see many out Donegal way... most linger around dublin?

Think that's just the way of things. Dublin's population started to tail off when Donegal and then the Dublin Mountains took off, then Donegal petered away when Offaly was secure. Once there's interest in Killarney I suspect the Dublin Mountains (spawn settlement) will go quiet too, and Offaly in turn will quieten down once people start heading out to Bland's big new village west of Dublin (was it ever conclusively named?

) Its a combination of new user migration, old users logging on less and established users moving off to claim their own lands and build their own things.

Out on Donegal myself across from cherrys fishmongers :P

Still good few spaces here, not many hanging about; which works out great as the surrounding area hasn't been raped of resources yet

It's Wicklow, and there's two of us there now (unless more have moved in overnight).

yeah i've found that as well, plenty resources about. I like that the surrounding areas are largely green and mountainous too. Still looking around for a spot on the map to start building
