Love the colour scheme on that Kadett, and the way the roof and seats match. Not so sure about the alloys, have to wait till its finished.

Mint M-B 280E which is parking in our street for last couple of days. Not sure if my neighbor bought it, or have it just temporarily.

I met him once, when he reversed with his van into my daily driver and damaged the licence plate with his tow bar. And the completely denied everything claiming that it could have been somebody else... Like a small kid really. I would like to see his face after I will reverse in that Merc and then do the same childish excuse like he did.

Spotted these when over in Egypt last week, there was loads of older vehicles on the roads but I hadn't my camera most of the time. I saw a Fiat 132/128 and Ritmos(or the equivalent over there) a Datsun 180b, and a Toyota Crown one day on a bus.

These are called the Tofaş Şahin, based in the Fiat 131 and produced until 2010!

Read a feature on them in Classic & Sports car over the weekend!

Black one looks sweet but I couldn't live with the lack of poke. :)

TBH I'm wondering if it was a replica/fake? I really don't know enough - and AFAIK they are just super-super rare?

On the other hand that area is Primrose Hill in London so some A list Celebs are occasionally around (coming out of the same pub another Sunday I saw a sometime pirate (whose missus sings about a taxi) getting into his rather conspicuous Cadillac Escalade)

That Dino is stunning. It and the F40 are my favourite Ferrari. Its the only reason I went to Kinnitty yesterday....to touch an F40! :pac:

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators Posts: 25,589 Mod ✭✭✭✭Dades

That Dino is just out of this world.

Nothing they make nowadays can touch that body for sheer beauty and panache.

Badging on the back of the car is wrong, the Dino never had "Ferrari" badges on it originally and was intended to be a separate "entry level" marque.

If it was mine I'd have them straight off, very vulgar! :D

Anyone know the history of this one? A chap I worked with remembers refitting the lights on it when it was resprayed in Galway in the early 70s. He thought it was originally French registered.

Great to see someone taking the effort and expense of fitting a more correct number plate to the Beetle rather than the dreadful looking black and silver version of the EU plates.

But being really picky about it, I don't think that the font used is correct, looks like that used in the UK rather than the fonts which were used in the ROI.

    Or am I wrong?

Wouldn't you think he would change the number plate if not just to hide the rust bubbles.
