Similar to in fifth year when the teacher told us "It's not really a test, it's more of a 'maths quiz'."

A feckin' maths quiz that was used for our Christmas grades.

Haha no, they give you 25-40 basic questions and if you get less than whatever mark they recommend you use the maths learning centre and attend support tutorials.

And for a moment there you were rising steadily in my estimation!! >.<

    Metaphorically speaking, ofc!

Was SO close getting into the lodge in UL yesterday. SO SO SO close. And as I walked through, they stopped my friend coz she was too drunk so then I didn't go in :( sad times for soccy. It turned out to be a good night in the end, just the 'would have been highlight' didn't go to plan. Oh well. There'll be more nights..

I met a girl it happened to this afternoon!

Yeah, totally sickening, I reckon I did well enough because it was all hons maths but still I'd say it was an awful shock to people who had never done it before.

I'll give you over dramatic :p

Although it will be slightly comical to see some scores I'd say. Technological maths, what a cop out.

I've got that guilty urge to study I only ever get when I don't have anything to study for. Where were three weeks ago when you could have been useful?!

Couldn't you just go over things you learned last year and haven't been tested on in a while?

Must be awful embarrassing to have a really low score though and everyone looking at it and laughing though. Still think i wouldn't have been too unreasonable to have separate tests for higher and ordinary. What's the point of asking OL students about logs or integration?

(poor RHunce has to endure my whining about little tests like this on a daily basis :P)

I could, I was more just complaining about how I only get motivated to study the second my exams are over

I've been trying to get through to DIT all day to find out when I've to buy my knives and uniform but they're not answering/the phone is engaged. Fúck sake.

Hey chill! You are going to college - it will be a blast. How about posting a thread on the DIT section here there is bound to be some chefs (I'm presuming its Chefing btw and not martial arts )....

BTW the DIT is the least organised bunch I have ever encountered.

Friends told me they no longer are my friends because of my one stupid mistake. Officially friendless. Thank Jesus I'm leaving the country in 3 weeks.

Been there, it might sound dramatic when you say it but I know how it feels. Sickens you, doesn't it? People can be really shallow and nasty sometimes.

Ya I literally feel sick. I know exactly. I can't get over it especially since the day before I did the really stupid thing a friend of mine was killed suddenly.

That's the point of standardised testing :P they wanna see what everyone can do. The days of honours and pass are loooooooooooooooong gone!

What's the story with the Lodge anyway? half the people say it's the best place ever, the other half say it's absolutely crap...

The internet for my college place still hasn't arrived :(.I've this dongle i use in mayo but it's damn expensive to keep using

But both groups will be doing the exact same module, yes? ... i.e. there isn't a higher and ordinary version of the course?

And some people who did OL will have started in HL and dropped at some point and may well have enough covered to act as a foundation for this module.

I'll stop being logical now, I'm beginning to sound like Da ... someone I know who has nothing whatsoever to do with C&H ... >_>

On Monday I'll either be sitting in a lecture theatre in Galway or in a classroom at my local secondary school.

MAN WAS NOT DESIGNED FOR THIS ANTICIPATION.

One of the girls has my keys from last night so now if I leave my room I won't be able to get back in. I can't find her anywhere and I just missed a call from her but have no credit to call her back. I also have to get breakfast but can't get into my kitchen cause I have no keys and I have to go in 15 minutes. No-one else is around because everyone is at their registration days so I have to eat chocolate for breakfast!

    tl;dr:
BAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH (Ciara is hungry and will soon be locked out of her room)

Thanks, might take you up on that :) Right now I'm just not dealing with it at all just doing everything I can not to think about it. I know if I think about it I'll just break down and I've still two days of work to get through!
