I'm sure the place was nice in the inside, but the dogs on the street know that the majority of the people drinking there have a certain mind set and an agenda.

Sure I bet you where also saying that about Barcode, that place is gone and you still have a problem. Well chap, I think you need to stop blaming the pubs and maybe have a look at the area you are living in.

Move the players lounge 30's seconds from your gaf and see if you say the same thing. And barcode? drunk teens... meh, certainly no gangland criminals drug dealers and ra heads.

The Players Lounge will be opening in approximately two months. Up yours to those who celebrated it's 'demise'. Great sports bar and will be back rocking to the rebs soon enough:D

There's a certain rationale for letting these types of establishments exist, keeps all the dross in one place, let them go there and act 'ard to their hearts content.
Us law abiding civilised pussies aren't missing anything by not going to them either, they're usually s**te and boring.

Then when it all goes tits up and one of them gets shot, you get to read all about how football loving Jason or Deano was the salt of the earth according to his ma.

You really do hate working class people don't you? Funny I've never seen any trouble in the place. It's a lovely pub on the inside as well and class outside area that doubles as a smoking area. Even has its own bar out the back. You enjoy your ponsy bars if you think the PL is rough:D

Feck all to do with the pub itself, bit like all the others.

I hear the same about my old local Finches. Has a reputation but doesn't deserve it.

Ha Ha Working Class to the core mate, as in, working class, there's a certain element within the working class that revels in being a moron and gives the rest of the working class a bad name thus stunting any sort of cohesive political movement that would look out for our interests, your pals in these types of boozers keep the working classes in their place just as much as the politicians and the priests ever did.

This raff-raff actually has utter contempt for the decent, law abiding working classes that they live amongst.

I think you're a moron prejudging whole gangs of people you don't know based on what pub they drink in. There is undesirable people in nearly all pubs in Dublin. The reason the working class don't have a cohesive political movement that looks after their interests in Ireland is purely down to the gob****e attitude of Irish people that they should vote along the lines of how their parents and grandparents voted out of blind loyalty, or as it's also known as "civil war politics".

Your last comment again is just silly. Your categorising people based solely on what bleedin' pub they drink in. Seriously:rolleyes: I grew up in Clondalkin and have never drawn the dole ever as do most people in Finches, my old local. Pigeon holing people based on what pub they drinks highlights you're the one with the problem, not them. If you're na analyst on where the working class have gone wrong politically I hold no hope for us when you hold so many in utter contempt just purely based on what boozer they like their pint in.

    Adios!

I don't think anyone is saying anyone who drinks there is a 'scumbag'. Not at all.

Just that a lot of scumbags go there. There is a difference.

However, I have no doubt that the majority of people that go there are good honest sound people.

The bit that made me laugh was "working class", ha ha.
Most of them wouldn't work on a life support machine.
