That, and it's the top floor! But there's a lift. What room you in? 1 is a giant single room, 2 and 3 are twin rooms. Kitchen is nice and spacious too(Sized for 6 people, even though there's only 5 in the apartment)

    I'm in 2, can't afford a single room so I'm sharing :P As long as there's a lift that's cool!

By the way, are the apartments split up mixed gender or not?

Applied for Cunningham, and got a twin instead, but I'll live!

    84-06 here!

Do we really have to supply our own "duvet, bed linen, pillow, crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking utensils" like the e-mail said? I don't fancy having to cart bed clothes all the way to Dublin, never mind buying cutlery and dinner stuff

On your application you can specify whether you mind living in a mixed gender apartment....personally I dont mind I just cant wait to get up there!

We must do. What do they mean by cooking utensils? Saucepans, etc?

You're not the only one reading and thinking 'if only...' This round 2 business is painful - even though I know it's unlikely I'll get a place I keep hoping..,

My cousin stayed in Cunningham house last year and she said there were loads of places free by October, or even before then. I'd say a lot of people reject their places, say if they get a room that doesn't appeal to them- and a load of people leave within the first few weeks because they don't like it. Don't give up hope just yet!

I phoned up yesterday and they said they were way oversubscribed this year so my hopes aren't too high :( I'm on the waiting list though so i'm not completely lost for hope!

I've gotten a twin ensuite, originally went for a single but after loosing my job yesterday i'm sooo relieved it was a twin. Just wondering what the twins are like? I've stayed with friends in NUIG and Maynooth and their rooms were so so small, the beds were almost touching. Are the rooms in halls big enough for one to have their own space?
