O' Reilly is no where near as biased as Moore, if you said Hannity i'd agree.

Bill "secular progressives" O'Reilly is extremely biased, though he's pretty good for fox, just goes nuts when he thinks atheists are getting uppity, no different to the rest of the holy joes in the states..

God I hate this attitude that it takes some courage to be left wing, as though the CIA are going to take him out or something.

Most people in Hollywood ARE left wing. Being that politically dogmatic, left or right, is not a sign of bravery its a sign of stupidity.

    No he's from Michigan.

LOL @ someone saying Steve Jobs is the greatest American. That wouldn't just happen to be because of the news of him coming to the end of his life? Coincidence I'd say. Having said that Bill Gates is surely up there without question.

    Nope, moaning doesn't fix anything.

Eh, I think he does a bit more than "moan". Get real.

Seems to me a bit like saying David McWilliams is the greatest living Irish man alive today. (If this were so why isnt he running for president? Ditto Michael Moore for political office where he could have really made a difference)

I like him, his criticism of the US is completely justified most of the time.

I did enjoy him making Charlton Heston look like a mug though.

With respect, though you may not have liked Heston, and you may not like the NRA, I think Mr Moore could be far more respected for his making Heston look like a mug had he actually been telling the truth when he did so. That he had to resort to lies and half-truths to do it implies either that Heston was not, in fact, a mug, or that Mr Moore is simply incompetent at demonstrating such a fact.

    NTM

Biased and sensationalist, kinda like those he documents

That pretty much covers it for me... He cherry picks people with a gripe and presents their story with his santimonious and subjective voiceover... There is validity in a lot of what he's saying, but zero objectivity..

I despise Moore's treatment of Heston, it was underhanded and distasteful.
Heston's image was unfairly tarnished by Moore's handling of that despicable interview. Idiots who saw the film took everything as fact and suddenly people were berating Heston for not just the callous incidents where he went to Columbine and neighboring towns promoting gun ownership but also that he was a racist based on the interview.

That the famous quote came from a year before the incident and that Moore lied in his fictional film was overlooked. In fact I would go so far as to say that Moore lead a smear campaign against Heston.

    Somethings to consider about Heston:

In 2002 Heston released a statement saying that he had been diagnosed a neurological disorder with symptoms consistent with Alzheimer's disease. It's believed that he had been diagnosed back in the 90s.

He publicly condemned both the McCarthy Witch Hunts and the Vietnam War.

In the 1960s Heston was a vocal supporter of the Civil Rights movement and gave a lot of his time to volunteering and taking part in many marches. In the 1963 March on Washington, Heston marched alongside Martin Luther King Jr and it wasn't the first time he did either. He also narrated a number of documentaries on Civil Rights.

Kirk Douglas an outspoken and very liberal Democrat and Heston who started out as a Democrat but eventually became very conservative Republican were very good friends. When Douglas saw the film he was disgusted by the way Moore treated Heston and the manner in which the footage was abused to portray a lie said that he would "never forgive Moore for it.

Not really relevant but kinda cool all the same but during the Waco standoff the FBI hired Heston to provide the voice of God to talk to David Koresh. While it never went ahead it's quite an interesting story.
