    So as the name says Im going building a Sabotina Pram but just for man power rowing. http://glen-l.com/designs/hankinson/sabotina-pho-1.html

    Basically I have from September to December to make it and only a few hours a week to do it. I do think its do-able even at 17:p
    this is my first boat build and Im just asking for advice from people who may have built one before or any dinghy really and tips they'd give for my build!

    This is the standard sizing and the one I plan on doing;

    Length: 7ft 10''
    Beam: 3ft 11''

    Ive been working off this page http://glen-l.com/designs/hankinson/sabotina-pho-1.html and video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnHBuxUpaTg and a few things I cant figure out are;

    1. At the very front, the angles of the board sloping?
    2. I know the beam will be the widest but how will I scale down other two? (The one in front of the beam and the one at the very back? I know these will be smaller)
    3. The angle of the hull?

    Unlike the website, I plan on making the moulds like the video and leaving in the beam and adding another so I can make a seat to row it and likewise at the back bit making it a little box just for design:P

    Any advise would be great and if anything Ive said above please correct me cause it is my first time and Im not going get everything right:rolleyes:

    Are those details not on the plans?

    Going over your post it sounds like you don't have the plans yet, they are only $39 from Glen-l and will have all the answers you need it would also be worth your while getting "Boat building with plywood" http://www.boatdesigns.com/Boatbuilding-with-Plywood/productinfo/12-430/
    I don't think you could build this boat by eyeballing someone else's work as there are too many factors that come into play that make it safe and seaworthy. Marine ply is not cheep so it's best to do it right and take all the guesswork out of it. :)
