No it's annoyance at having our noses rubbed in it. Why don't you, your touchpad and your lovely cover go away somewhere far far away?

Show some decency and stop being so bitter for god's sake. Didn't get a TouchPad yourself, then?

Good news for those looking for a official HP Case.

Official argos twitter have confirmed they should be getting more touchpad cases, but are not sure of the date yet. Surely Irish stores will get a decent chunk of them.

@ArgosHelpers do you know if you're going to get any more of these? http://j.mp/oxmFvt

@redstu12 Hi, we are expecting more, but I can't give a set date for when we'll have them. Please keep checking the website for information.

    Infraction for Dario Large Nectar

There's plenty of other people who didn't get Touchpad's.. and they don't feel the need to go around belittling other forum members.

Next outburst like this (from you or anyone else) will be a ban!

Also I have an email from Argos just in "Confirming that new stock is coming in and when"

Care to share it as I got a call from HQ in UK & they said they won't be getting any more in

I had given up on one of these but Argos have just texted me to say my touchpad is in stock :eek: They are holding it until Tuesday... I wonder if I'll be lucky enough???

i'm awaiting a text from dun laoighre. i'll pop down later as its meant to be collected today and i have heard no word form them otherwise.

its strage that no one here has mentioned the fact Argos are adding a couple of euros onto the order. this shows what they genreally do and that the are in the habit of having higher prices. well beyond the RRP.

which is 99 and 129 respectvely.

I paid 110 for mine in Argos but got €20 in vouchers which I will be using anyway. I nearly didn't because I was so happy to be getting it at that price that I ignored the signs on the kiosks about going to the counter to be able to get the vouchers until a staff member stopped and asked me if I was paying over €50 for items.

PC World at Liffey Valley have cases in stock. Not sure what brand or such and they're half price. Kind of regretting not getting one when I got my TouchPad in the first place. :(

They seem to be holding them now, so I say you should get it, but id go in as soon as possible. And if you dont get it, if they sold it, make sure to kick up about it and not let them off lightly.

    Lads,

C'mon.. we're grasping at straws with FNAC.

They got absolutely 1000's of orders as they had the product on sale practically all day Monday - if (IF) they get any more stock, it'll be VERY little.

I promise to actually give my Touchpad to someone if it comes through.. that's how unlikely it is!

I'm kinda getting my hopes up. The translation reads:
Good news for those who ordered a 32 GB Touchpad We were able to finally get the stock required for orders placed on availability can still be honored.
Regarding the touchpad 16 GB, unfortunately we can not fulfill orders. However, if excess Touchpad 32 GB, we will get back to you next week for you to benefit primarily, if desired.

I'm not using mine until I get a case and screen protector for it, be it 3rd party or HP branded.

I wouldnt be sure about that man. Can you upload the email for us? Or even send it to the argos twitter and see what they say? The Argos twitter said argos are not getting any more stock of the touchpads in, but are getting more cases in.

@ArgosHelpers It was available on sunday when i reserved it.That is not HPs fault, just wondering what argos are do to rectify their mistake

Obviously if you have a spare reservation for there then it's my local one :)

Ya if you select english language options in the OS then the keys will corrispond to qwerty in software...though not physically. A moderate pain if your really desperate to get one and always look at your keys before you press I guess.
