I have a cat, so my house is definitly mouse free. :)

(and he's too fat to fit in the microwave, so no worries there..)

Anyone else remember the case where that woman found a decomposed shrew in her white sliced?

Of course, the obvious assumption was that it had got in there during the process. Not so. Turned out it had simply entered her kitchen, very much alive. Then burrowed into the bread and expired in the middle of it!

If you ever have a mouse in the house always check the crumb tray for droppings.

We had a mouse last year who managed to evade traps for about 3 weeks. Opened the crumb tray and there was droppings in it from the mouse going in and eating the crumbs.

    mice and spiders?

I do it all the time now before slotting my bread in there.

I read an article a few years ago where this woman got a funny smell while waiting on her toast!! It turned out a mouse got into her toaster over night!!

So now, every morning I take a peek to make sure no spiders, flies or mice are in there!!

    this you OP?

I knew what you were gonna say by the thread title as I found a mouse in it before, was dead obviously.

The bread didn't go down all the way anyways so didn't need to check first.

    hahaha funny thread
I remember one morning getting up for college at 6 i put down the lever thing on the toaster before putting bread in it which i normally dont do and after 20 seconds a mouse flew up and ran across the counter! I nearly had a feckin heart attack!
To this day I put the lever down first to see if any mouse flies out haha

I don't check every time I toast bread, but occasionally I do.

Not found anything weird in the toaster yet though.

I'm never going to be able to look at my toaster again the same. I almost don't want to look inside of it in case there is something in there and I will be traumatised forever, the sound of the "POP!" will give me panic attacks

Thanks for ruining toast for me.

In return: I saw a thing on the news a few years ago about a woman who found a huge tarantula in a bag of manhattan popcorn. Same thing happened with a box of bananas in a supermarket. Enjoy your food.

A mouse in the toaster. I can only think that an individual like Bear Grylls would embrace this as an added protein bonus to his caloric intake for the day.

Hovis are getting in on this new market share it seems.

    You never know.

Is that some kind of euphemism when getting down with the missus? I'd say she might need to see a specialist:pac:

Did they ever find that massive spider that escaped from the box of bananas?

nope, he's roaming the country somewhere. Could even be in somebody's sock drawer... Or toaster... Or shoe.

Well I hope he's getting on okay. It can't be easy adjusting after getting up and leaving home like he did.
