mine was at 00:03 and ive had no email, i must be on the cusp (cusp great word and underused in my opinion)

I guess you had a dispacth date from the get go then and not the "We'll notify you via e-mail when we have an estimated delivery date for this item" status on the "your orders" page?

Just a quick reminder to people that if at all possible you should try not buy a touchpad off someone on adverts or ebay for a vastly inflated price.. if no one buys them at the inflated price it may just put people off buying them for profit the next time.

Its unlikely that it will make any difference to the greater scheme of things but I for one wont be spending more than 10% over the reduced prices, anything more than that an im out...

The first thing I did was look at adverts to see if anyone had bought one and decided when they got home they didn't actually want it. The only one there was trying to charge 200.

A guy on HUKD posted this, take from it what you want, it could be BS also:
I've just got off the phone to Amazon. You can ring them yourselves and they will offer the same information.

Last night, they had a small stock which some few people managed to receive. The people with "no delivery estimate" have NO stock allocated to their order. We have merely preordered the product for when it becomes available next. She also confirmed however, that Amazon are in communication with HP and their suppliers to receive more stock. "If or when new stock becomes available, customers who ordered the item last night but are showing "no delivery estimate" are first priority." The next shipment of items will be reserved for those people like ourselves if they can get stock at all.
I imagine if HP release more stock, amazon will get it first considering they're the biggest online retailer in the UK. But who knows.

Anywhere else left in Ireland to get touchpads?

I got some in the Click.ie shop in Gorey this evening, saw a post this morning on this thread referring to their Facebook page, so rang the nearest store to me and he kept them for me

Might be worth checking with their other stores as they're not as high profile as other names so perhaps they have some left (Gorey and Carlow dont)

Still trying to find a benevolent boardsie with a spare pad to sell or an un-needed Argos code.
Any offers would be really greatly appreciated and received.
    Thanks a lot guys.

There's an entire thread dedicated for kind souls who want to give away a code or sell a pad and for people to request one.
