If anyone tried to buy / sell Argos reservations on here, they'll be getting a holiday from the forum.. it's just unfair!

I was one of them who ordered today at full price. Got one confirmation e-mail but Credit Card was charged twice!! Let's hope they reduce the price and then sell me two!!

Depends if you want to just read with it, to be honest. Kindle lasts 3 weeks on one charge, and doesn't irritate my eyes when reading books. For everything else, I agree.

Not for reading. A backlit screen just cannot compare with e-ink. A kindle is designed for one thing only and it excels at it. Your eyes tire quicker looking at a real page than they do a kindle 3.

Tablet -> multimedia consumption.
Kindle -> reading.

Far as I can see, they had touchpads, they then had no touch pads, then removed them from everyones basket and now have touchpads at full price.
