BBS with French and Munster Rugby FTW.

Was looking at the 1st year timetable and am greatly confused.

    How long is the week?

    Thanks for any help.

About 18 hours when in full swing with a language. 13 hours until week 2 or 3

This might help. Better than ITD's layout anyway!

BBS aswell haha we're taking over this forum :pac: does anyone know how may hours (roughly) we have a week ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,698 ✭✭✭Risteard

Someone told me last night that it was around 12 hrs a week for business. That can't be right can it? I'll have more for French as well but that doesn't seem an awful lot.

    6 modules @ 2 hours lectures a week = 12 hours a week....but!

Add in an additional 1 hour of tutiorials per week per module, will total @ 18 hours...

There is an odd lab also, which will increase the total time to 20 hours per week max iirc.

The languages also have a few more hours, but still less than 25 hours per week.

That makes a lot more sense.

    Could anybody help me? :/

There was a mistake in my cao offers and the admissions office confirmed that I now definitely have a place and should go to the orientation and what not but I will get my offer when the second round offers come out.
Do I need to enrol or anything? :/ And if I do, where do I? :/

This is all so confusing -.-

If you have the place (or so they say) they should send you out stuff with info how to enrol. You need to be enrolled to get your ID card etc on orientation day. I'd contact them again to ask.

Just looked at the online orientation schedule and it says we enroll on that day :) do you know if I will need proof that I will get my place because if so then I'll just print off the email I was sent and give them that :)

You do enrol on the day but you may need to (again we did this last year so I've no notion if you do it this year) do an online registration first, and then print an email confirmation of that and bring it.

Orientation on a Saturday and Sunday? Third year in UL and thats the first I've heard of it. Orientation normally runs Tuesday - Friday, with Tuesday Postgrads, Wednesday business and so on.

Are you sure you've got that right? Are you a school leaving postgrad?
