Alcohol - how much do you drink on a typical night out?

for me its twelve pints, and about 6 - 8 doubles of the captain/jd/absolut. odd shot of sambuca doesnt go for wanting either!

i drink at home and have maybe 3 or 4 when i go out.

fúck if im paying almost €5 a drink when i can get 5 for €5 in most shops.

depends really, we usually dont go out until around 12 and go straight to a late bar or club anyway, I drink JD so would usually have 7-8 throughout the night, I rarely get drunk on it anymore, yet 3 pints would floor me

Not judging, but I reckon if you had 6 pints, and 3 - 4 doubles, you wouldn't even notice the difference but save about €60.
Or even 8 pints and 5 or 6 doubles and save about €30-40.

5 or 6 pints, I've long stopped getting anything more than 2 pints at last shout.

I'd usually have a few more cans then after with the mates in more privacy.

Heading to the pub now and i'l have up to 10 pints of Heineken in the pub then on to the club where il go onto the shorts prob 3 or 4 southies and a few jager bombs untill my money runs out and all i have left is the fiver in my back pocket for the taxi home

Ill be heading out tonight for the first time since April, I rarely ever drink but tonight im going to be blotto, I reckon a few pints and then the offie for a bottle of wine and few cans.

pfft, that's nothing. For me it's 25 pints, 3 bottles of vodka and a white wine spritzer...and that's before I head out.

Myself - usually very little.
I do this deliberately as to keep my wits (what few I have!) about me and sharp.

I'm more likely to drink more when I'm at home within the safe confines of my own home.

It used to be about 2 bottles of wine or 2 bottles of cosmo/mojito (those crappy smirnoff ones) before going out, followed by 8 vodkas (singles), 2 or 3 alcopops, 3 or 4 pints and a few shots.

Stopped drinking for 5 months and have only started drinking again recently, so now (last night for example), I'll have one vodka or whisky in the house, and about 8 or 9 vodkas/jagerbombs/rum (a mix of them, up to 9 drinks) and that'd be it. Much nicer not being absolutely plastered, and less of a hangover

On a decent night out I'd be drinking a litre of vodka or rum before hitting the town.
Out then I'd probably have 4 or 5 pints. Or 3 or 4 vodkas.

and I wonder why my hangovers try to kill me.

4 cans before i go out (cheap skate - yes i am)

4 pints in pub.

club- maybe 1-2 pints then 4-5 vodkas.

house party - 4 cans maybe but sometimes alot more.Its just i usualy fall asleep then.

Plus it would seem you too can drink me under the table. I am feeling very sad at this moment in tme

I've gotten into the habit of just having a cup of tea or coffee when out at the pub with my friend. The last time I had a pint was ~6 months ago. I don't mind alcohol but I just hate it being used as an accessory when socialising, it just clouds your true self in my opinion. Mind you I would be able to drink most of my friends under the table.

Kind of gave up counting the amount I drink when I hit the age of 16, I can give the odd guesstimate but dont find drinking more than others being "cool" anymore.

Ah, I only have about 10 drinks max now. I used to drink like a fish, I really did consume scary amounts :eek: Still haven't found anyone who can beat me in a Jagerbomb race though

Depends how I'm feeling and how much money I have. Some nights I'll only have a pint or two of Guinness or a vodka and white and leave it at that. Other nights, I'll drink half a 70cl of gin and juice and whatever else I get my hands on.
