Westwood?

    Looking to join a gym and was thinking of Westwood. However I hear it gets packed now because Total Fitness is closed down, everyone goes their. Is it really that bad?

    I'm also wondering is their a squat rack, DCU gym doesn't have one so I cannot lift heavy.

    Does anyone know what the student rate is?

    Can't help on your queries, but Northwood's pretty close to DCU too - another option to consider. There's a few more depending on where you live. The Regency Hotel gym isn't too far aaway and is well kitted out. There's sports link too.

    All depends what you're looking for!

    im in westwood now since total fitness closed. it only gets really busy between 5-7pm cause everyone seems to go after work but any time before or after that and its grand. even when it is busy you can still do your work out grand since they have so much equipment. yeah their is 4 squat racks in westwood.
    you should give them a ring and tell them you are considering joining, they might be able to get a day pass to see what you think of it, if not im sure i have one lying around somewhere.
    student rate is 55 a month, theres a joining fee as well.
