Well it's got the flashing red light and while tuning it in my TV got rid of all my TV stations I had saved so I'm back playing ninja gaiden on emulators, so not so much bang for my buck :/

They all have that, & shame on you for choosing auto-install...you should know that wipes your tv stations :D

You need to do a lot of blowing on the cart edge connector, tapping it and popping it in and out, up and down on the mechanism, it does work! I played it before passing it onto you, promise!

    I am not obsessed..honest ;)
1 more proper review for the SMS version , and then a combo meg/pcengine/msx/amiga one ...and then I'm FREE!!
...unless I do the IBM/PC one as well I guess

Had a pig of a time with getting the video recorded and working , and lost the sound twice , so it was One AM when I finally recorded that last commentary , so I'm err and um and ah'ing a bit more than normal btw)
In case anyone's interested , here's what it runs like ..(and some game gear outrun lovin' as well.
One more combo review (meg and Amiga) at some point this week and I can
STOP PLAYING OUTRUN AND TRY SOMETHING ELSE.
Loving the series , but a man needs to play more than one game

I'm getting an error message with that vid.

And it's ok to be obsessed with a game, sure we've a few fellow obsessives in these parts!

There's Sparks and his of Boulderdash.

There's certain folk and their love of alcohol.

There's about 50% of the population here whose minds are wetwired Pokedex's

And there's me who loves Virtua Racing in all its forms.
Now why didn't they make a MS/GG version of that?

    ?
Thats odd , Its working here ..how do I know?
because I was checking the boards when I was waiting for my train..and when it came I had to hurriedly put it in my pocket..so I'm sitting down and after a minute I notice I can hear someone talking in the background...eventually I fish my phone out to hear myself talking about the game gear , I'd managed to pocket click the youtube link and the damn thing was playing away for all to hear ;)

Just got my Powerback for my Nomad, now I just have to get the soldering iron out or better still find a certain Kerbdog who actually owns one! Then the Nomad will be finally properly portable, Virtua Racing on the go, oh yeah!

Just be careful, unless you get a whiff of some sort of cleaning agent immediately I'd say back away, given the craven, base kind that own such devices you could wind up with a nasty case of genital warts, on your nose!
    Just sayin' is all...

Wear gloves or ask a semi-friend to do it first, someone expendable, then clean it well, with bleach, you never know what bum scratching nose picker owned it before you.

If it was handed down as some sort of heirloom from a close friend or family member, disregard the above statement, I'm sure they always washed their hands after scratching their bum or picking their nose, no worries....:D

might be jinx'ing myself here - but I finally purchased a Taito original Bubble Bobble PCB. Hopefully it arrives soon ! I've been trying to buy this game for sooooo long and always got beat on the auctions.

Out of curiosity what was the ball park figure you paid for it?

Cheers , I couldn't get any capture programs working well enough for it so I ended up using the inbuilt avi captue on the emulators . Fusion for the SMS and gg , saint for the St and spectaculator for the zx.

My Space Invaders arrived today for the Gameboy and, more importantly, the Super Gameboy.
Can't wait to give this a lash, its reckoned to he one of the best Super Gameboy titles after Tue renowned and sublime Donkey Kong.

Now, should I continue to save my Paypal funds, aiming for the Pc Engine Duo, need about 150 including postage, or blow the money on a much wanted GameboySP ags-101?
