Sold the Megadrive I picked up yesterday, another few bob into the kitty for my PC Engine Duo or maybe a GBA:SP ags101.... getting confused now...

Picked up a little game for the DS in HMV, XG Blast, a Geometry Wars clone, published by Rising Star, actually a nice little twin stick shooter.
The game looks great, the vector based visuals of GW replaced buy sprites and dinky polygonal ships and enemies, feels a little like a cross between GW and SuperSmashTV for some reason....
Gets a solid 7/10 in most reviews and for peeps who likes the shooters its a worthy purchase.

HMV have had loads of copies of XG Blast lately, they seem to be getting a few rare(ish) DS games in as I picked up some games there recently, can't remember the names of them though and I may never see them again as they're entered the pile of doom!!

Got this today along with 2 x PS1>PC (USB) adapters (not pictured). This bad boy is as mint as I've seen. Not a scratch or crease on any part of it and also comes complete with SC-OCD for good measure. :)

Top work! One of the best games ever made (the arcade one that is). I'm looking at trying to gather lots of versions of the series too. Good choice. :)

OutRun - the very definition of arcade brilliance

Ah, a Jap Raiden Project! Nice. No matter how many great shmups come out, I always go back to those two games. Love em!

Outrun arcade cabinets were built in Ireland. Apparently there are warehouses full of them (so the rumor goes). They were definitely assembled here.

Nice one, games too. Still waiting for my NGP. It's like the reverse of a 3DS, I have the games but no machine to play it on.

Yea games included, think it was £40stg inc postage which I was happy enough with
Now to source pacman at a reasonable price including the crossring.
Boxed games seem to be about 5 times more expensive than unboxed

Got Puzzlesphere for my ps2 today, probably muck but I'm a sucker for odd peripherals!
Also got John Birminghams After America which arrived before the first part of the trilogy Without Warning.

Well it's got the flashing red light and while tuning it in my TV got rid of all my TV stations I had saved so I'm back playing ninja gaiden on emulators, so not so much bang for my buck :/
