I was driving down my road just there on my way home from work.

I was stopped at a set of traffic light on the road when I looked to my left and seen some chap in a blue Lacoste tracksuit cycling along the path.

I looked closer and seen that in his hand was an electric beard trimmer thingy.

He was trimming his knacker-tache while cycling to what I can presume was the nearby pub.

When I lived in Melbourne, I used to see this dude a lot around Chapel street.

On rollerskates, his dogs pulling him down the road. He used to wear a mad hat.

Clearly it was second hand, and had a sensible person at the wheel.

Probably the time someones horse got out and wiped it's arse on my neighbours window. Funniest thing I've ever seen.

Motoring wise, I once saw a female drive competently.

The sign at the top of the road where I grew up says (to this day)

    CAUTION
    CHILDREN LAYING

Saw a fella dressesd up as luigi from super mario, was a costume, not make up. With what seemed like his missus and kids in the car. Very funny.

Really, really wish I had seen this guy, but no such luck:

Years ago I passed road works where they were fitting cats' eyes to the road and saw a "Caution: Stud Laying Ahead" warning sign. I'm pretty sure I didn't imagine it anyway...

A green top and dungarees? You sure that wasn't just a normal outfit?

Found a cattle skull on my road when I was a kid, 'twas kind of weird because we lived in the city. It made a great racket when the council guy ran over it with a ride-on lawnmower.

No because he actually had a luigi head on him.

This happened a few years back when I was learning to drive. I was out on a lesson one summers day with the driving instructor and was driving on a country raod between Greystones and Kilmacanogue. It was only my second or third lesson so I was very nervous and concentrating really hard on all the instructions being given. Next thing as I drive around a bend, I see a cyclist on the opposite side of the road cycling along wearing a scream mask and what appeard to be a full length black cape! I tried hard to keep concentrating on the driving and not let this unanticipated sighting put me off. As I mentioned above, it was summer time so it definetly was nothing to do with Halloween and it was during the day, like about 3pm so I ruled out a fancy dress party! It was so random and the fact that the cyclist was cycling with a mask restricting his/her visibilty made it even more weird. But the strangest thing of all was the fact that my driving instructor didn't even comment on the scream character cyclist, almost as if it was anormal sighting on the roads!

I had just reached the house my flat was in and there was a chap coming towards me holding his side awkwardly and I just knew he was going to say something to me. "Excuse me, Miss. Have you got a bandage I've just been stabbed". He kept going and by the time I registered what he'd said and caught sight of the blood all along the pavement he was gone. Polite chap though.

About six years ago when we lived on a housing estate we woke up one morning to see blood all up neighbours wall beside their front door and the blood trail led all the way through town about two miles. The couple had a new born and none of us knew them well so hesitated to knock. One of the neighbours did in the end and got short shrift so she rang the guards fearing something untoward had happened. They investigated and said he worked some place with sharp knives and had cut himself in work and cycled home. I still find that a bit odd.

Last Hallowe'en my scumbag neighbours had a fancy dress party and really late that night it all kicked off outside my house.!

Fists flying, tshirts being ripped off when all of a sudden out of nowhere running towards the fight was a 20 stone woman in a FRENCH MAIDS outfit!!!!

Since viewing that i haven't been right since but I swore I will never look out my window again unless i have a video cam in hand!

One Christmas Eve coming out of the town with my Mum and Nephew in the car saw some guy in full Santa outfit carrying a sack of toys walking along the street..... guess he was dropping pressies off and getting totally in the spirit, but as it was just gone dark it my 5 year old nephew was totally convinced it was HIM.

Would love to know who the guy was as he made Christmas that year for the kids in our family due the official sighting!

While living in Phibsboro, saw a clown cycling down the road balancing a box of oranges on the handlebars.

Live in Wexford now and regularly see a really old guy with long white hair and long beard bringing a goat for a walk (lead and all) on the Enniscorthy/New Ross Road. He's often topless.
