With permission from the Mods I said I would start a thread where you could post a picture of the album/record you are currently playing or listening too. Pics or GTFO

I should have started this a week ago. I'm currently playing the soundtrack from the movie Submarine, artist: Alex Turner. This record is good for rainy days

Bethany Curve - You Brought Us Here (2001)
One of the best shoegaze albums of the 00's. This album is dark, slow and very heavy on atmospherics. The band sometimes sound like Slowdive on downers.

underrated album! Used to be a big rap fan but moved onto pastures anew when I was about 16. However this album still makes my top 10! Really good stuff!

Hooverphonic - The Magnificent Tree (2000)
A pretty damn good Belgian trip-hop band. The album has a nice night-time feel reminiscent of Portishead at times and some brilliant vocals to top it all off. I've had this on heavy rotation over the past week.

Well it's more palatable than '69' as it only contains a paltry 13 songs

and the fuzzy Jesus and Mary Chain stylings of 'Distortion' are replaced with the more familiar acoustic sound. If you are a fan of MF you won't be disappointed. You Must Be Out Of Your Mind is the title track and this will give you an inkling as to what the album is like.

School Of Seven Bells - Disconnect From Desire (2010)
One of my favourite albums from last year and one of the best dream-pop albums in recent years. There's still one or two filler tracks but when it's good, it's good.
