ANOTHER Robin Hood-type considered a hero to some of his neighbours.

Steven 'Rossi' Walsh has been in jail since 1993 after being found in the rubble of a pub belonging to the family of boxer Steve Collins after it was fire-bombed.

Walsh, 52, claims he was walking by the pub when he was sucked in by the explosion.

    anyone remember this genius..?

What's your point? Mine is that this thread has got such interest because of who the owner is and because of his shady recent history.

Oh I don't know, ever see the wankfest for 250 thousand civil & public servants to lose their jobs.. Don't let a few bar staff losing theirs get you down.

The staff in the Player's Lounge aren't costing the state money it doesn't have.

Well if the owner needs cash he could alway sue the people defaming him, saying it was an insurance job etc.

What makes you say that? Its not as if the pub was struggling.

With all the bad attention and possible 32scm connections I am sure the local AGS would be objecting to said owners licence been renewed, especially the late bar which would have been disastrous for business.

Just walked past a while ago, was surprised to see the windows all smashed and the place cordoned off.

    Nothing that could be libelous.
Its ok to speculate that a unicorn did it though.

AFAIK he gets the late license renewed weekly, thats why he had to take down the banner, so thats not an issue.
