Well being honest the gaffs I go to don't watch Fair City with visitors in the place for fear of being ridiculed repeatedly.... and you're judging them purely on their physical attributes giving no consideration to their acting abilities, or lack thereof . That Caoimhe one is such a whingebag, she needs a good toe in the hole, and the actress who plays her isn't much better, pulling funny faces every time she's on camera .

LoL you can start by watching a proper soap :D. Nite-o!

    Who's Caoimhe??

We aint no 3rd years no moreeeee, we're...dundundunnnnnnnn...TY'erssss!
    :pac:

The JC went ok, not to bothered about it anymore, ive come to the realisation that i reallly dont give two flying fuucks what i get, as long as i get an A in maths and science XD
but history and english, and geography, all went a bit worse than anticipated, but ah well, c'est la vie XD

Im actually kind of looking forward to ty ^^ 1) It gives us a break from learninggg -groannn- 2) Im the sort of nerd thats gonna use it to my advantage and get a head start on 5th year... :o 3) I cant wait for the work experience ^^ 4) Im going to spainnnnnnnnnn for 2 weeks with my class

Hey! Just saw this one aswell; damn HP laptops and their tendency to freeze over . Ahh TY - an expensive doss year, like I said. Yeah, I've definently realised over the past few weeks that there are many more VASTLY superior aspects of life than written exams.... But that's just my way of acting cool about not getting an A in English *sob*.

Noooo I hate Science and Maths! Well, I hate Science, have grown to like some parts of Maths but on the whole I'll be lucky to pass. Can't wait to drop to OL!

Woo nerds unite! I'm thinking of getting some of the revision books and getting an overview of what's ahead of us in the core subjects - I know what I'm doing for LC anyway so shouldn't be too difficult.

Where are you doing work experience? I sent one letter and have yet to do the rest.... Woo I'm going to France for a week - I reckon I'm the only one going who hasn't been to Paris or Disneyworld (cue the violins)... so looking forward to it :D

Coolio (do people still say that?) :) What do you plan on doing after school?

Well..... I've got everything crossed for working with the 2fm production team in RTÉ, but there's thousands of other kids applying with the backing of their schools so I don't know how much chance I have. The letter's in the post!

I want to work in a photography studio as well but I don't know if they'd take me on... we'll see ;) I'm very pursuasive.

And I'm going to a chemist too because (don't laugh) I'd love to work on a beauty counter one day. Getting paid to dress up, look fancy and: FREE SAMPLES! And there's the possibility of a part time job if they like me :D

I've got a few others as back up; primary school (but everyone automatically picks that, don't they?), courthouse, car dealership, nursing home, beautician's, sitting in on college lectures..... but the ones I wrote about would be my top three :D here's hoping!

I see.... I should really download Firefox on this baby ;)
I've never been *boohoo*.... everyone and his mother says Florida is better but I'll be happy just to meet Minnie Mouse - she's sort of my idol .
Yeah, I tend to refer to her and her sister as the D4 twins.... and they say Carrickstown is a typical Northside town :P

Does anyone know if one can go back to their own secondary school for work experience as a secondary school teacher? Noticably, it'd be a little different being there whilst your peers are elsewhere. I have to admit, it'd be more than exciting to sit in the staffroom eating biscuits. :pac: (although unlikely to occur.)

Sorry Converse, I highly doubt it. The whole point of work experience - or so they tell us - is to be in a completely different environment and meet new people and gain skills. I don't think that includes working with teachers you've known for 3 years.

Of course you could always ask - I just don't think it's a possibility. And besides, why would you do it? You'd get torn to pieces depending on the school; actually, scratch that, you'd get torn to pieces anywhere. Well, I know I would :(

Yes, I don't think I will do so after all. I suppose it's work experience as a secondary teacher on a daily basis whilst sitting in a class.
