    Anybody some pictures from Clonakilty?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,065 ✭✭✭mountain

Clon was dissapointing, only took a few photos that I thought would interest a few on here,

    a 2CV and a Renault Fuego,

they have decided that 21 years old becomes a classic, so it was very odd to see a starlet and a very rough looking kadett lined up.

    As always, no camera

I was out in Southside auto spares in DunLaoghaire this morning and the red Golf (can't find the post anywhere) is still out there, and has been joined by a 'ZV' Rolls Royce Silver spirit, and a Mercedes 450 SL, neither of which look too bad. Yerman was kind of busy so I didn't want to ask him yet another question (ie: prices)

I saw that in Blackrock a couple of years back - AFAIK it belongs to the museum in Howth. They'll let you on if you ask!

What's the sticker across the bottom of the rear screen?

Not saying there is anything out of order but unusual to have a GB badge on it...

The machinery was really out today. Spotted two proper vintage (early '20's at the latest) motoring out of Innishannon today. There was two MG B's and a
Midget in Kinsale. Spotted an Amazon, MG B and an old TVR (maybe) heading for the N71/R607 junction. Also spotted was a Mk2 Golf and an early Scirocco.

No photos I'm afraid, I was driving at the time.
