Not Going Away - Ozzy Osbourne
Starting off with the godfather of metal, not one of his best albums but a solid tune none the less.

    February Stars - Foo Fighters
From the Colour and the Shape album, Good tune again!

Quelqu'un ma dit - Carla Bruni
Sexy music from the sexy first lady of France.

    Driven Under - Seether
You know, I have nothing against Seether but I'd say I have only listened to this album maybe 3 times in total.

    Phantom - Justice
First really upbeat song that has come on so far. A bit too dance for my mood at present but how bad.

    Junkhead - Alice in Chains
    Grunge with attitude. Nuff said.

I haven't got anything embarrassing on my MP3 player but I'll do this with my music drive later.

Walls of Jericho - Discovery of Jones

I initially dismissed Walls of Jericho as being tuneless shouty crap. It was only after I listened to their acoustic stuff that I actually started to appreciate them properly. While I still think they are shouty, their songs usually lead to me nodding away if I'm listening. The part that kicks off at 2:17 is a good example. I also really like the fade out to the acoustic part at the end.

    Deftones - Lotion

Lyrics that make no sense? Blistering guitar work? Vocals ranging from almost ambient crooning to full-on screaming? All key ingredients for early Deftones. This is another song that never fails to get me nodding along when I hear it.

Within Temptation - Stairway to the Skies

The closing track from their most recent album. Like a fine wine, Sharon den Adel's voice seems to get better and better with age.

    Fear Factory - Resurrection

My favourite band playing one of my favourite songs from one of my favourite albums.

Threat Signal - Another Source of Light

This wouldn't be my choice if I had to pick a track to demonstrate the quality of Threat Signal although it does contain all the ingredients found in their better songs.

Arch Enemy - Dead Bury Their Dead

For a good while I used the intro riff of this song as a warm-up and speed-building trainer. It's great fun to jam along at a higher BPM :).

    1. Fast Lane - Vitalic
Got introduced to these on a trip with my class. We had some laugh driving with this and the rest of the album blaring. Strange for me because I usually hate this kind of music.

    2. Rosenrot - Rammstein
Absolutely love Rammstein. This may be from one of their weaker albums but its a solid song.

    3. Basement - Puddle of Mudd
I used to love these guys when I was younger. Their first album is still great to listen to from time to time. Lost all interest in them when the second album came out.

    4. A Broken Man and the Dawn - Volbeat
First heard these supporting Metallica in New York. Fun band to listen to.

    5. Rise of the Tyrant - Arch Enemy
Love this song, especially because of the speech from Caligula at the beginning.

    6. 99 Ways to Die - Megadeth
A nice strong finish. Some great riffs in this song, one of their best IMO.

OK, this time I'm on my computer. The hub of all my media. :D

    1. Breastfeed - BellX1 (:pac:)
    2. Boogie With Stu - Led Zeppelin (Nice!)
    3. To The Workers Of The Rock River Valley Region, I Have An Idea Concerning Your Predicament - Sufjan Stevens (An enjoyable interlude from a good album :). Quite a long title, though. :P)
    4. Freiflug - Megaherz (Perhaps their most well known song. It's good. Very atmospheric.)
    5. Crips - Ratatat (I like them. Very laid back electronic music. I recommend the song Nostrand.)
    6. Two-Headed Boy Pt. 2 - Neutral Milk Hotel

    More indie than metal there.

If Nailz gets 3 go's then im going to have another. I hope my extremely inebriated state doesn't effect the results....other than i can't type for sh*t.

Cutting Crew - Life is a Dangerous Time.......:o i like a couple of their singles.....bad start!

David Gray - Kangaroo. Really like a new day at midnight as an overall album actually.

Rod Stewart - This Old Heart Of Mine.....as much as think rod stewart is absolute legend im wondering whether i should post this post at this at this stage.....

Leonard Cohan - Tower of Song. Yes!!!!! The master.

Soundgarden - Mind Riot. I resent the fact they're lumped into the same category as nirvana, soundgarden & alice in chains is just good rock to me.

Scar Symmetry -The Eleventh Sphere. Finish on a high!

Jazz Odyssey - Liquid Trio Experiment
Not quite as solid as Liquid Tension Experiment, but still weird and wonderful
    prog-jazz-avant garde.
    Bridge - Marillion
A band that ranges between great and dodgy. This is a short-ish opener to a
    concept album.
Tornado Alley - Terry Bozio and Billy Sheehan
The iPod seems to be all about the prog tonight. Two masters of their respective instruments here.
Driven by You - Brian May
Not too sure about his solo stuff, generally prefer (early) Queen, but this
song has some great guitar work.
    Midgards Eldar - Enslaved
Finally some metal. Blistering blastbeats, awesome riffs.
    Somberling - Galgeras
Dutch (?) black metal that is way too underproduced for my tastes, sounds awful.

    I'm gonna go again.

    1. Perfect Insanity - Disturbed (One of the few highlights of a lackluster album.)
    2. Fortunado - Hands Up Who Wants To Die (Great noise rock from an Irish band. Their lead singer is joint head of the Richter Collective.)
    3. Pony - Tom Waits (Can't beat a bit of Tom Waits.)
    4. Broken Harp - PJ Harvey (This is a good album. :))
    5. Rhinoceros - The Smashing Pumpkins (Never heard this before. It sounds good.)
    6. 747(Strangers in the Night)(Live) - Saxon (Awesome.)

Ok, I'll ave another go -

Duran Duran - New Religion - slightly embarrassing ... but actually the bass playing on this is excellent
Symphony X - Fallen - Nice slice of prog-metal but far from their best.
The Chocolate Watch Band - Inner Mystique - Quite hippy-ish...sounds a lot like Sabbath's Planet Caravan
Origin - Perversion of Hate - From the Sublime to the killer. try and imagine Morbid Angel still being good and thats Origin.
Ozzy Osbourne - Crazy Train (Live) - Back when Ozzy wasn't ****, ie when Randy Rhodes was in the band.
Iced Earth - My Own Saviour (Live) - Now yer talkin! Great stuff.

    Bob Dylan Gotta Serve Somebody
A bit of Dylan, that's a nice start
    Pink Floyd - Hey You
Love this song. Can't complain about this.
    QOTSA - Tension head
Wow I haven't listened to this song in ages.
    Nirvana - Negative Creep
Same with this, it's been a while. Must play roulette more often.
    Led Zeppelin- Trampled Under Foot
Not amongst my favourite Led Zeppelin tracks. But it'll do. So what does my Zen have in store for me last
    Cream - Badge
    Classic Clapton greatness :)

Overall I'm pretty happy how this roulette thing turned out

As well as two Mike Patton numbers. Thats my fave Peeping Tom song from the album too.

Your shuffle works well!! I may need to reshuffle from my Itunes on mac instead of the Iphone as I feel I am getting short changed in the coolness stakes!!

Ceremony - Silhouette - Shoegaze with a driving insistent beat, good stuff.
Mayhem - Funeral Fog - Classic Black Metal
Filter - Stuck in here - Quietish grunge, nothing remarkable
Rainbow - Coming Home - Dosen't get much more classic than this!
Toe - Rasuto Naito - Japanese post-rock. lots of interesting melodies, not as depressing as most post rock bands.
The Samuel Jackson Five - Easily Misunderstood - More post rock, this sounds more jazz influenced though.

The first one where a bogey didn't show up!
