If it was a deal breaker for him? Thankfully I don't see this ever being an issue, because even if I did lose my job, I still have a lot of work freelance, and I am not the kind of person who would be able to live on the dole.

Must be lonely up there on your pedestal..

I wouldn't be too hard, I can remember having similar views until the current climate arose. Now I know that those views were foolish and somewhat ignorant, Storminateacup will also learn that one day.

    What pedestal?
I just don't keep all my eggs in one basket. I understand that people can lose their jobs, and its not a dumpable offence. However, I cannot abide people going on about "being on the social" or "government artist haha, fianna fail".

If my partner was happy out, on the dole, not even bothered to find another job - any job - don't think I would be hanging around.

Don't get me wrong, i've had my fun with wasters (real wasters, im not referring to all unemployed people as wasters) - people who really would sleep on the floor if there was work in their bed. They're just not someone I would ever date.

So you are talking about people who don't have a job rather than no money? If you met someone who was very wealthy but did nothing but laze about all the time would you still stick to your guns on that one?

That's better explained, fair enough so

Oh absolutely. It isnt about a well paying job at all. Its about not laying around at home all day, expecting life to bring you nice things, or complaining that your life is terrible, you cant afford holidays ect.
Some people dream of success while others wake up and work hard at it.

I give everything I have, to everything i do. I just expect others to do the same.

But I am talking about someone who has money, just doesn't work.

Wouldn't bother me if they were unemployed, but what would bother me is if they had no ambition to ever be otherwise.

I'd find it very hard to be with a man who spent more than an hour or so a day on computer games.

He'd have to get on with my friends and family.

Good hygiene. Should go without saying but unfortunately it needs to be said sometimes!

No politicians- I think an interest in current affairs is important, but I hate the ráiméis that somes with politicians. Met this guy lately who was Fianna Fáil obsessed. Like it was ALL he talked about. It was a night out, loosen up buddy. I was asked was he chatting me up, but I think he would have preferred Willie O'Dea to have his babies than me.

I'd have to be attracted to him, but I'm not that fussy about looks- it takes more than that to be attractive (cheesy but true). I like a funny man. A man who's a little bit odd actually (but not a total weirdo). I'm not into real career types. Having a career is great and all- but it's what you do, not who you are.

Oh, and no long hair. Sorry :o

    So am I.

People with a lot of money are either famous, or spoiled. And I don't think anyone spoiled could cope with me, and vice versa.

Just because they have money doesn't give them a free pass to be lazy.
Money doesn't mean sucess. I have my own money, my own income. I am independent of my partner.

Have blonde hair and blue eyes

Be as sweet and gentle as a teddy bear with me
Be able to literally pick me up and throw me over his shoulder
Bring me flowers and chocolate just because
    Enjoy cooking
Be a demon in the sack
    Be extremely well hung

    I've a few requirements..nothing too much

    1. Non smoker- Gave them up recently so don't want the added temptation
    2. Light Drinker - Barely drink anymore so not really interested in seeing my gf falling around langers with her baps hanging out and puking her guts up
    3. Own car- So she's not constantly asking me to drive her around the place
    4. Job - Doesn't matter what it is (except hooker) as long as she has her own money to treat herself
5 Intelligent- There is absolutely nothing worse than seeing an incredibly beautiful women and then she opens her mouth and she turns out to be a complete retard with the iq of a gnat
    6. Non-Racist /Open minded
    7. Sense of humour - Has to make me laugh
    8. Attractiveness - Obviously I have to be attracted to her and vica versa, if she/I put on weight etc I expect to be called/call her on it and get our butts to a gym etc.
    9. Great cook- I don't want to be feeling our kids on takeways.

You do know that scientists have recently discovered that it’s possible for a man to cook?

In an ideal world my oh would be:

Over 6 foot tall, non smoker, doesn't do drugs, funny, intelligent but not a genius who makes me feel stupid, up for adventure and travel and a league of Ireland fan.

I know the last one is a bit odd but if I am to be serious about someone he needs to understand that from March to October I have another love in my life and if he is a fan he will get that.

In reality I usually end up with short smokers.:-(
