When I was a kid one of my neighbour's was a dublin bus driver. He used to drive the 79 route. I was friend's with his son Glen. His dad used to take all of us on joyrides on the bus all the time. He used to take us to Fort Lucan, the cinema, etc, he even took us as far as Skerries a few times, and then later he'd come & collect us and drop us back home. Good times.

Was awkward as my dad was picking us up, and we went for a pint in the local. Me and the gf were looking each other up and down in the light of the pub for a trace of the white stuff.

Many years ago while very drunk after having previously somehow opened metal gates to an apartment block by hand i decided that i had some kind of super metal bending strength. (obvious truth at the time)

whatever it was i was doing on the bus it had something to do with trying to bend the headrests and metal handgrip/pole thingys, think i was talking about my new super-abilities aswell.

almost got my ass kicked shortly after getting off at my stop for mouthing off about how id kick some bunch of lads arses. (i let them off as my massive metal bending strength would probably just have killed them)

Once walking out of the Mace shop in Tallaght with my two mates:
I hear my guy mate shouting "WTF?? Is that someone getting sick on the bus?
( Dont know why he thought they were getting sick

Me and my other mate look up and there was a 77A flying by with no one on the top except this young one and young fella full in the nip shagging on the bus as its going along...
What made it worse was it was at night,was dark out so the lights on the inside of the bus was on....The bus looks highlighted and the fella just had the girl pressed up against the window

Had to be the most shocking and funniest thing ive ever seen... How did the bus driver not notice or worse imagine you got on and strolled up stairs, turned around and just seen that

Another time my and my mates got on a 77 going up to the Square, were sitting up on the top deck at the back.We get this horrible smell and were thinking OMG that chap infront of us just let one rip...One of my mates just shouts " your some sick f!ck farting on the bus" the arguement went on between us for a while with him untill he finally stands up and just goes " THE F!KING SMELL COULD HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THAT SH!T JUST SITTING THERE" and points to the ground behind the seat.We all turned around and there was a Poo there...You would wanna see all us just hoping up and legging it.Most disgusting thing ive ever seen :0

Spilt coffee while on a bus, not a pretty sight, it decided to slide and spill everywhere. I just let it run down the bus as it was a bumpy ride and pretended it wasn't me. I got off the bus fairly soon after it happened so no-one would guess it were me!:o

While I were in college I often studied on the bus if I weren't too tired or if I had an exam coming up. Not much else.

A couple of times there was a bottle on the ground by my
feet on a crowded bus. well I pointed the bottle on the floor in
the direction of the stairs and let the movement and gravity of a
moving bus take effect as the bottle would gradually roll off the stairs
with a loud bang and a smashing of glass. 39 bus by the way

Oh, I hate buses.

Worst one was probably going to Athlone for a friends birthday. Got the half nine in the morning bus, it was almost empty. Some absolute dirtbag sits next to me, and started putting his hand on my arm. Ended up turning to the window and pretending to sleep till Moate, where I 'woke up' and then went to the front to get off in Athlone.

Still gives me the shivers.
