    (Q) Did you hear about the Irish people whos most popular religious institution have repeatedly been found to be involved in child abuse, institutionalised abuse, criminal behaviour, cover up, collusion and self preservation above all else.

    What about them?

    (A) They are left responsible for the running of over 90 of the states schools and lots and lots of people think this is just great.... Boom Boom.

Come back soon for a joke about Foxes minding the chickens.....

In fairness, people are more than welcome to go to a school not set up by the Catholic Church. Same goes for hospitals.

Is the post in poor taste or the constant stream of Catholic Church apologists who turn up on these posts?

Just read about it now. I can't say it surprised me. We knew this sort of evil has been going on for a long time and the cover up of it. No worry for the pope though, he lives a life of luxery and can easily avoid the rule of law.

Is it inappropriate to say its funny cause its true?

Over 90 percent of state schools, OP, over 90 percent; there's a large difference between 90 schools and 90 percent of schools. (I think it's 92% of primary schools and 49% of secondary schools.)

There can;t be enough until this sorry era in irish history is laid bare for all to see. I don't think this is just a church thing but it also reflects poorly on irish society.

And they always seem to follow another shocking report on The RCC handling of abuse reports. Perhaps theres a connection........

They are responsible for more than just covering up sexual abuse of little kids.

How many posters have been apologists for child abuse?

filthy fking pedos should be kicked out of the country. would have happened immediately if this organisation in question wasn't such a large well funded cult with so many mindless apologists around.

Who mentioned apologists for child abuse.? I mentioned apologists for The RCC but I can understand your confusion of the boundrys

These perhaps qualify as RCC apologists:
Stunning logic. Up there with turkeys who think that turkey farmers are doing a great job setting up and running turkeys farms and sure we should not let Christmas blot their otherwise great record.

You mean Irish people convicted of child abuse should be kicked out of the country, or you mean people who were never involved in child abuse or covering it up are also 'pedos' and should also be kicked out of the country?
