I went to the Debs with a guy that asked a week before it, but he was a good friend that chickened out on asking a girl he liked at the time. It's pretty hard to organise everything in a week.

Well for a girl it'd be Hard to do it all in a week, if you really wanted I'm sure you could.

Pretty sure my bf left everything til the week before to organise stuff for my debs. There's not really a whole lot, rent a tux, I'm sure most guys have nice shoes, organise the corsage, on the day get chocolates/wine for the mum. That could easily be done in a week.

I feel so silly for asking this (:p) but girls how did you/will you bring up the subject of suits and stuff with your 'date'?

I don't wanna seem like he has to wear what I say but black just won't go with my dress..! It's my grad/debs but would it be rude to tell him to wear navy?!

Be like 'Oh, do you know what kinda suit you want yet?' Make it sound like he's deciding to wear a navy suit.

Was thinking that and then being like Navy would suit my dress but is that not obvious?!

I suppose he is a lad though! :P

'Whats your opinion on matching with your date? Because I think its tack. The personification of tack.' -A rather camp friend of mine.

To expand on this, a navy suit would totally clash with all the black suits in the guy-pictures!

I'm sorry now but the night of my grad the following is true.

Clashing with LilMissCiara is worse than clashing with his friends.

    :P

Anyway, a lot of the lads probably won't wear black!

In that case, there can be only one solution: he must wear a kilt!

I would actually find that quite funny.. Until we then had to leave my house and be in pictures and stuff! :P

Like I don't wanna put him under pressure in case he already has a suit from other events..!

I'm really awkward about these things..! :P

Getting my dress made as of next week..can't wait!!!:D

The second debs I went to, the guy specified he would not, under any circumstances, be wearing a tie to match my dress. He just wore a black bow-tie, and it looked nice too.

It was my party and I'd have cried if I wanted to.....

In all seriousness, I don't remember sounding THAT stubborn >_> And that dress was very pink!
