Looks like my Ryu and Ken limited edition dolls, ahem, I mean "figures" have arrived today :p

Does such a thing count as retro and require the usual pics?

Haha, yeah and I agree 100%.
Pics it shall be. When I get home that is.

I wonder how they actual look as they are not the usual crappy figures you see in shops here. They looked decent online but you never know until you rip that box open. I guess I'll find out at 7.

    I got something new yesterday!
    3.75 tonne of stone,
    1 tonne of sand,
    17 concrete slabs!
As you can no doubt guess, this is not retrogaming in nature.. :(
Also included were a mini digger and a whacker plate thingy...
    All very exciting, not

    Nearly have it all done.
Stone down and locked down.. Check
Sand down, whacked and level... Check
Patio slabs? In progress as we speak, just a little break to type here before once more unto the fray...

    Dodgiest chat-up line ever :P

You'd certainly be met with some Blanka faces if you pulled that one out in a night-club.

Oh, puns! The lowest form of humour.

Sorry not to post anything, but I was wondering how's the RAGE shop in Dublin? Is it good? Overpriced? I live in Limerick and my Dad is up in Dublin the odd time and I'm wondering is it worth going up with him?

Sometimes, best to go in and see for yourself.

I'm not sure if RAGE is worth the trip up from Dublin, but if you're ever nearby it's worth having a look into to pick up the odd bargain or rarity. Actively seeking it out could lead to disappointment. Indeed, my best purchases there have been the times I've merely wandered in to kill time or was passing by as opposed to the times I've actively gone in to buy something specific.

Thanks for the replies guys, I'm off to the ebay.

You can check out their web page here, they post any new arrivals and if you want something specific you can email them and ask. I Wouldn't say its worth the trip from Limerick just on the off chance but if you are ever up its worth dropping in.

True, but I want a Virtua Stick Pro first! No-one bit on my post in General Discussion though so it looks like I've a longer wait ahead of me...

If you have the space for a Virtua Stick pro, you have the space for a candy cab :p

I think when I boot this game up I'll hit mute on the AV receiver and play this instead:

I'm that old I remember when this was first released. :o

I remember the Bouncer got a lot of attention for being the first major Squaresoft (they were still just Square then, right?) production on PS2. Rented it and even as a young lad I thought it was underwhelming. Alas, would be nice to revisit at some point though, my memories of it are limited.

Virtual-On is mad stuff going by the 360 version. They're mad for it over in Japan - VO, Gundam and various other mech games often populate considerable real estate in arcades.

Virtual On is a superb 1 v 1 game. Pity nobody in the west is interested in it.

Gundam/Mecha/SHMUPS and Bizarre .JP odditiy games are my staples. :)
