I'd rather Rory was playing with Yang again instead of Westwood tomorrow.

Oh dear Padraig... bogey bogey double bogey and he's back to +4.
what a shame. those fairway stats dont lie... 25 of 49 hit. i reckon i hit more than that.

i do agree with a comment monty made on friday... ph & langer... best scramblers of all time... not far from the truth.

Think he would be fine with both. Both Yang & Westwood have smooth swings which may help Rory as he wont be trying to hammer at the ball. Westwood has thrown away a few chances to win majors aswell so there will be a lot of pressure on him too.

    attack, attack, attack Rory :)

Rory's expression after missing the birdie put on 8 remind me of the final few holes of the masters.

I hope he's not putting too much pressure on himself.

I'd rather see him well clear in the lead and a battle for second.

Put the ghost of Augusta to rest.

Ah no i actually though it was a similar but different expression. At Augusta it was a "oh **** it anyway" today it was like " get in their , nope , oh well". :D

text book front 9. Started off a bit off target but his short game saved him and since the 4th he has looked very confident and was unlucky with a few putts.

It'll be Day who'll be in the final pairing with him. Day played the first 3 days of the Masters this year with Rory too.

Yang would need to get to -6 (at least) to be in the last group tomorrow.

He's going to win this thing, it's just a question of by how many. If he brings it home in even 4s tomorrow, someone is going to have to shoot 64 just to tie him.

    64. In a US Open. On a Sunday. Two hopes, and of those is Bob.

Is anyone else sick to death of the whiny, miserable "woe is me, woe is me" face on Garcia these days... I actually wish they'd stop showing him.

McIlroy back to -13 after 9

long may it continue, may he continue this form and not choke.

I'll never forget the Masters, sat in a hotel watching a train crash.

Best of luck to him, sure sign of mental strength and fortitude if he comes back as he has.
