Advice Required

Im looking for advice, I am in my early 30's single and find that all my friends are settled and having kids.I was always happy with my life but lately my feelings have changed. I live in the country only have a part-time job at the moment and find that i have a lot of time on my hands. I current volunteer and exercise with some of this time but and considerning getting out there and trying to change my single status. The problem is i dont really go out much and when i do it not to places where you have much chances of meeting men. I am considering internet dating but all i have ever heard is horror stories. I really not sure if its the way to go, so has anyone had luck or is there something else i can try on my own. I'm aware as all my friends have parnters the number of thing i am going to try on my own are limited, and the fact that I'm a bbw and a bit of a chicken would probably also hold me back a bit.:rolleyes:

So if internet dating is the way to go is their a site that is better than others, any help would be great
