The issue of junkies sticking needles into oranges/lemons is true, tho i haven't seen or heard of it happening in a few years now. I work part time in a shop in the city center and a few years ago we would have to keep checking the fruit and we were throwing out lemons nearly ever day.

The myth was that the junkies were doing it to clean the needles, but i heard from a copper a few years later that they would stick the needle in the fruit, and try and get some of the juices into the syring and then use it with water to disolve the heroin.

Dunno bout the fruit, but I heard of the vinegar one years ago. Can't have chipper-chips without vinegar tho so feck it.

Having said that, those "Bug Chasers" should just be shot in the head now. The amount of people out there in agony and dying from AIDS and these retards are looking to catch it? Heres an idea... give it to them and then let them catch the flu too. Idiots.
