The Engadget one is posting tons of high-quality pictures. Tons of thousands of words, all on a webpage!

New version of Mail, I'll happily take that. Current one looks a bit stale.

    Not liking the new icon.

Not big on the Mail icon, new search features are pretty good, though.

Not available until July though. I really wanted it today. :(

Yeah, I'm not sure how that is going to work. I assume you won't need to burn a disc since he said no reboots. Although how that is supposed to work is another question.

    iOS Notifications. Great start!

    Looks good.

Now I'm just waiting for the bad news that it won't work on the 3GS.

Notifications looking good. :D Lockscreen notifications are actually quite cool and useful.

Yes, I read that somewhere too....I really don't expect it to work on the 3GS.

    Apple want us to upgrade!

Forgive me for being a newbie but I bought my first MacBook Pro a month ago.
Im using 10.6.7. Will the new OS be like an update from the App store or will I need to back up everything and start from scratch like a windows reformat?

Looking forward to the iOS info now.. The mail doesn't make much of a difference to me seen as I use gmail online anyway, and don't really need offline access to mail much.

It will just be an upgrade. You apparently won't even need to reboot. Just install it like your installing an app.

You definitely won't have to do a clean install. You'll be able to upgrade without losing your data. How exactly this is going to work with Lion remains to be seen.

Tabbed browsing, whoohoo! That definitely won't be on the 3GS. Assuming it is on the iPhone and not just the iPad. I'm not sure if that was made clear.

Volume controls to take a picture, very surprising but great feature.

I thought with iOS then it's available on all iOS devices and there is no difference.

*looks at poor, soon to be obsolete 3GS*

I'm getting depressed looking at this. Hopefully they won't screw first gen iPad users just yet.

Yeah, I assume that's the case. I just didn't see any pics for tabs on the iPhone. I'm not sure how well they would work on such a small screen.

Hard to imagine Tabbed Browsing to work well on a small screen alright. Wireless Sync up next by the looks of things!

works like every other web browser in the appstore, has for years
safari very late to the party here, ive never used safari, atomic browser all the way :)

I like Atomic Browser and iCab, but I find the performance of both to be very poor which is the main reason I don't use them. I'm sure they are much better on the iPhone 4 and iPad 2.

    iTunes wireless synching, hooray! :D
