    It was an oversupply of "yes we can" optimism which got us in to the mess.

    OK Pat......can we :

    1) Sack all useless and corrupt politicians
    2) Tell Anglo & NAMA to go f**k themselves
    3) Tell the bondholders that they took risks and "the value of your investment may go down as well as up"
    4) Make ALL public sector pay realistic and affordable
    5) Jail developers who don't pay THEIR bills
    6) Make living here affordable for people earning under 20K, so that we can live and work in our own country and the country can be affordable to workers and tourists
    7) Stop hammering barely-surviving people with extra unfair taxes - ye knew that FF had f**ked us up when ye applied for the job

    Something tells me your "motto" wouldn't last 2 seconds alongside any of those.

    So earn your pay and represent us (implementing your motto), or else STFU!
