I wish more people would realise that. The IMF negotiators were disgusted at the way the Irish sided again and again with the EU during the talks, completely to the detriment of the country. The IMF isn't the boogeyman, it's fucking Brussels that is.

Damn, does this help that little sh*t Sarcozy, in his reelection chances and his attempt at raping us over the corporate tax?

and you should read the Morgan Kelly article Irish Times May 7th.

The IMF had planned to haircut unguaranteed bond holders, saving the irish taxpayer 20 billion but this was veto by treasury secretary Timothy Geithner.

The IMF were scathing of the Irish performance, with one staffer describing the eagerness of some Irish negotiators to side with the ECB as displaying strong elements of Stockholm Syndrome

Sodomy means anything other than vaginal sex.

But sodomy laws were struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court back in 2005, so if he was charged with a crime, it would have to be sexual assault or something along those lines.

It's hard to do those kind of jokes in text. I went for the more subtle one.

Yanks were probably not impressed that the IMF came out last week and stated that China would over take the US by 2016 as the worlds largest economy ;) , Sarko is probably falling over in his platform shoes laughing

Fcuk him - His and his mate Sarkosy (who supports him) are two sides of the same coin.
Out to screw others if they like it or not, for their own gain and pleasure.

I hope the bollocks get a good jail term.

It is interesting that a man who had a good chance to challenge Sarkozy in next years French Presidential election is caught up in a scandal like this now. Seems very convenient doesn't it ;)

Honestly, China can take on that burden, especially if that means there will now be "Stupid things Chinese tourists say" or "Would you rather speak Chinese English or Anglo English" threads to go along with it.
