I've had a bet on every grand national since i was a kid, never won a penny apart from coming third when i was twelve after putting 50p on a horse.

this year i realised it was a mugs game and didn't bet but i still chose a horse for a laugh and yep, organised confusion won :(

obviously not my biggest regret but sure ya know yourself.

I wish I was little bit taller,
    I wish I was a baller,
I wish I had a girl who looked good
    I would call her
    I wish I had a rabbit in a hat with a bat
    and a six four Impala.

    Or Something along those lines...

Wish I hadn't gone straight to college after school.
I had only just turned 17 when I was making all these big decisions about courses and subjects. Should have taken a year or two to get some space and think more broadly about it all. Would probably have ended up making better choices; or maybe not. Oh well.
    This ^^^^

I was 16 in 6th year and didn't have a clue what to put on a CAO form. In retrospect, I should have taken a year out, then maybe repeated a couple of subjects instead of just thinking 'hmmm, I dunno.. sure, that course looks alright.. I guess.'

Sometimes i think i should have ended it all when i had the chance, but that was over 5 years ago, ive got f-all to show for my life since, or before, then.

    Ah well, such is life.

Plenty of time to make positive changes - you know life is like a box of chocolates and all - sometimes you get what you want and other times you get the nasty turkish delights - just got to move past it and find the caramel nut one.

I regret nothing. The bigger the mistake, the more education you gain from it.

Leaving school at 16 and making 'easy money' on building sites and pulling cable etc..
I'd probably have went on to college and gotten a qualification instead of arsing around from one demoralising job to the next.

I regret my last girlfriend... When I think of her I think of that song.. "I am the Walrus... Coo Coo Kachoo!"

I wish I had more self-confidence, now and when I was younger. I wish I had been able to give bullies the finger and keep my head held high. My little sister is in a similar position now - midteens, in boarding school with bitchy girls but she just tells people to go F-off, she's my little hero. I regret letting all the **** get to me.
I regret going out with that plonker for so long.
I regret starting a relationship at home on my year abroad, though not if that would mean not being with him now.
And then there's the whole load of totally unclassy deeds that I did and people I got involved with, but then it's all part of the college experience isn't it really? Make a fool of yourself while you're young, it doesn't matter and you can laugh it off!

That I actually bothered trying to talk to a particular person yesterday and help them... and it ended up in an almighty ****storm involving brick walls and god knows what.

But maybe because that's the most fresh in my mind right now.

Biggest regret of my life was breaking up with my ex girlfriend. Never met anyone like her before or since. She was the best of everything, including friend and laugh + her sexual appetite was amazing. (Ya never forget a girl who takes anal like a champ :D)

She was pushing 30 and after nearly 4 years together she wanted to get a place together and settle down.
She told me I was it for her and she wanted to start planning for the future.
Me being the total immature jackass freaked out, ended it and ran to the hills breaking her heart in the process.

I figured I was young and needed to sow my wild oats and the last thing I needed was someone ‘tying me down’.

Fast forward 3 or so years I do a little growing up and realise what I ****ed away. I hear she’s in a long term relationship with some guy.. giving the **** the best sex of his life I bet!! :(

I regret not admitting to myself alot earlier that my last serious relationship was over, it could have saved us both a lot of wasted time and heartache.

I regret too often being the 'better person', and not saying the things I needed to say, for fear of breaking someones heart. Sometimes things just need to be said, no matter what the consequence.

I regret caring, when I wasn't cared about.

I regret giving up my life for 12 months, to make sure someone elses went on.

I regret not putting myself before other people more often; I grew up with this innate need to help people and put them first and although sometimes admirable - it's a trait that can be self destructive. It's caused me a lot of pain that I neither deserved nor could deal with.

I regret making excuses for people who have hurt me, just because they had problems of their own. I've since learned that it doesn't matter how messed up someone's life is...it doesn't give them the right to **** yours up too.

I regret giving so many second chances....when I was worth so much more.
