Any one have their OSF on Three?

No option to pick it from the menu when selecting which phone you have... I assume it'll still work fine?

    mines grand (acceptable).. bad signal?

There is a constant background hiss from the earpiece, when I'm making a call.
Now it is quite low, it probably might fall under alot of peoples definition of "acceptable". The hiss is overpowering when I use the headphones, so the radio etc are unusable.
I've had a similar issue with a phone before and in the end it drove me demented.
    So I'm quite disappointed.
I have a newer model, I wonder if it is a general problem with the OSF. Or if it is worth bringing it back.

Is there a mandatory Top-Up to be added?

Guys, Angry Birds is a little laggy, even with the overclock swedish spring. Do I need the pro version of Blade Buddy to enable hardware acceleration? Can't seem to see which setting it is.

Is there a way to get flash working in the browser, I use dolphin and can set it to on demand but it would be nice to have it

Has anyone got any examples of the camera quality with this phone?

I dont have an example but it's very poor quality and needs a lot of light. IMHO, if you want a phone with a good camera this isn't for you.

It's not the worst camera ever, but needs a crapload of light... It's utterly useless in twilight/night lighting!

Hmmm. They aren't bad. I was expecting a lot worse tbh.

I'm still unsure whether to get this or hang on for the Galaxy S II

If You can afford Galaxy S II than take it, much better quality and faster than Blade.

And more than 5x the price, the Blade is a budget phone, it does quite well for the price

Yeah exactly, this is budget phone and gives even much more than other phones with same price from Samsung or Htc.

The last phone I bought was a Xperia X10 mini pro and it's horrible. Before that I had a Nexus one.

I'm still debating with myself if I want to splash out on the Galaxy S II, I reckon the Blade is just as good for the price it is.

I just don't want to end up buying the Galaxy S two months down the line because of the camera quality on the Blade (which really isnt that bad)

Ah come on, it looks like a budget phone through and through!
From the "San Francisco" branding to the cheap looking plastic cover that wraps all the way around it, there's no way you could ever mistake this for an expensive phone.
The insides are great for what you pay, but cosmetically??.... Not so good:pac:

You serious? Maybe I haven't owned enough of the expensive phones to compare too. But I think it's really nice to look at. I really don't see the plastic as being cheap looking? - However I've kept mine in mint condition so no scratches or anything.

I agree though on the San Francisco text on it.

I'm talking about the white one btw (ordered it by mistake), so it could just be that?.. I haven't seen a black one in person, so perhaps they're not quite as bad

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,579 ✭✭✭Webmonkey

Not sure. I think it looks good anyways :)

I think it looks quite nice. Not as nice as some phones but definitely prefer the design to the galaxy s and that costs a hell of a lot more.

The San Francisco logo ruins it
Everyone I know thinks it looks grand but all comment on SAN FRANCISCO
    grrr.. silly Orange

    I think it's pretty enough
    Nicer than my previous Nokias...

No, it's in the Free Version.....under Advanced Settings....check debug.sf.hw, which modifies the value to debug.sf.hw=1 in the build.prop file.

My BB setting for HD acceleration:

You could also do it with Root Explorer, but BB is safer!!

Not natively, as the Blade has an ARM V6 processor, which Adobe does not support for Flash.....

There is the Skyfire Browser, which transcodes some Flash to HTML5 on Skyfires Servers, and delivers it to your device.

I found that it may work for some sites, but there is no way to, for example, accept an adult warning, as your not seeing the original Flash content, but just a transcode from Skyfire...too bad ;)
